Brian Jones Coaches/London Classic bus hire were fab! The routemaster bus was a lovely addition to our day and the staff were fantastic. They arrived well on time and allowed us time to take memorable photos! Communication was good throughout. Thank you! ☺️

We hired a classic London Routemaster double-decker bus for our wedding transport through London Classic Bus Hire Ltd (run by Brian Jones Bus & Coach Hire) and couldn’t be more disappointed with their service.

The bus was due to collect our guests from the church at 2:30pm. As the minutes passed and there was still no sign of it, we repeatedly tried calling the driver and the company, but nobody answered. What should have been one of the happiest moments of our wedding day quickly turned into stress as we stood outside the church with all our guests not knowing what was going on or whether the bus was ever coming.

After waiting around 35 minutes with no communication at all, we had no choice but to arrange Ubers for everyone to get them to the reception venue. It was only at 3:25pm — 55 minutes after the agreed pick-up time — that the driver finally called to say he had only just finished a previous job and would still be another 30 minutes away. That would have meant the London wedding bus arriving nearly an hour and a half late!

For a wedding, where the entire day is carefully timed around drinks, food, speeches, photographers and guests, this is simply not acceptable. Instead of celebrating with our friends and family after the ceremony, we spent that time desperately trying to sort out transport and worrying about whether our reception was going to be disrupted.

We also completely missed out on the experience and photos we had booked the bus for in the first place.

Extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise anyone looking for London wedding bus hire, Routemaster wedding transport or classic London bus hire to avoid this company.

Amazing service from start to finish! They were always quick to respond and when I realised that I’d set the pick up location to the wrong address 2 days before the event they were quick to pivot and took all of the stress away.
The bus was well decorated and clean, everyone loved it.
In hindsight I would have asked them to put some drinks aside for myself and the groom as we were the last on there wasn’t much left… greedy guests.
I also wish someone had approached me upon getting on the bus as I spent ages making a playlist which was never used but it didn’t ruin the experience.

We booked a Routemaster bus for our wedding with 40 guests, and it was the perfect fit! Graeme was right on time, and Richard in the bookings office was super helpful with all our questions. The whole experience ran smoothly from start to finish.

We booked 2 route master busses for our wedding on the 1st August 2025. The team were great with communicating up until our big day. We opted to have drinks for our guests on the busses which were beautifully laid out and served by staff on arrival to the busses. We couldn’t recommend this company enough for event transport.

Put us at ease with all our questions. Nothing was too much trouble and Terri ,who was the driver, helped, with sorting out drinks and music on the bus and was very patient. We want to thank all of you that helped make our day special.
