Cheryl made our wedding cake for us.
She is incredibly helpful and professional. Her ideas and years of experience really helped us create the best wedding cake for our special day. The cake was stunning and we had so many compliments from guests. We had a three tier cake and picked the rich chocolate, zingy lemon, and raspberry and white chocolate flavours, all of them were delicious. The sugar flowers were hand made and stunning!! I highly recommend Cheryl. Thanks again for creating our perfect cake! -

Wedding cake
Lets start here - Cheryl’s lovely! Despite the fact we didn’t really know what we wanted at the beginning, she was really patient with us, talked us through ideas. The little taster boxes are very thoughtfully executed.
She checked in with us regularly on the run up to the wedding.
And on the day - the cake was amazing! It looked great and, most importantly, tasted delicious!Cheryl Bottomley Cakes's reply:

Cheryl Bottomley cakes
Cheryl was amazing from start to finish. We had a zoom call to go through the design we wanted, had a lovely chat. She sent samples through the post and all flavours were gorgeous we couldn't choose, we ended up having a different flavour for each tier. Our daughter is dairy intolerant, Cheryl made a tier just for her and she absolutely loved it. The cake was perfect looked so much better than I even imagined. Thank you Cheryl! -

Cheryl was absolutely lovely from the beginning. Planning the wedding from abroad was not easy but she put me at ease. From setting up an online meeting, the sample cakes she made, the absolutely stunning design and the most delicious flavours! Our guests absolutely loved the cake! So talented
Cheryl was fantastic from first contact to delivery.
We saw Cheryl's cakes online and immediately ordered a tasting box. The flavours were fantastic and the designs were beautiful- we knew we had to book her.
Fortunately, she had our date free! Contact was all very timely, professional, friendly and helpful and Cheryl was really flexible, doing consultations online and drawing up sketches so we knew what everything would look like on the day.
When it came to delivery, Cheryl sorted everything out with the venue herself (one less thing for me to sort!) and the cake looked better than we could have ever expected. The sugar flowers she creates really are a work of art! All of our guests said how beautiful the cake was (both to look at and to eat)!

We originally got in touch with Cheryl after we were let down by our original cake maker. From the outset Cheryl was professional, helpful and provided timely responses when communicating with us. We had a meeting online to discuss flavours and cake designs, which was followed by Cheryl sending us a few design sketches a couple of days later. We were also able to try a sample box to help us choose the flavours, the only problem being that we loved them all and it was difficult to narrow down!
For the wedding day, Cheryl had already communicated with our florist and venue ahead of time which was a huge help to us as it meant we had one less thing to think about! The cake itself was beautiful and even better than we imagined. It was delicious too, and lots of our guests also commented on this. We would definitely recommend Cheryl to anyone looking for a wedding cake :) -

Beautiful and delicious wedding cakes
Cheryl provided a lovely service with lots of discussion around the look and flavours we liked including some quirky touches. On the day it looked and tasted incredible and Cheryl was lovely throughout. Highly recommend! -

From our initial consultation at Cheryl’s house trying our flavours and getting a rough idea of what designs, shape, size and flavours we wanted etc right through to the cake being delivered on our wedding day we received a fantastic and attentive service from start to finish!
Cheryl is very professional, friendly, experienced, super talented, good communication & her attention to detail on her sugar craft flowers is amazing.
Not only did our wedding cake look spectacular as Cheryl executed our design fantastically, but it tasted beautiful. We opted for lemon, salted caramel and white chocolate and raspberry and all of the flavours tasted amazing!
We would recommend Cheryl to any couple considering booking a cake maker for their wedding day, you will not regret!
