We honestly couldn't recommend Amber at Cakes by Amber enough! Our wedding cake was genuinely one of the most incredible cakes I have ever seen. It didn't just taste absolutely amazing it looked incredible too, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more.
We definitely gave Amber a challenge with what we wanted, especially with the little details on top of the cake. The cats she created, along with the incredible little versions of me and Matthew, were honestly amazing. She captured exactly what we had envisioned and somehow made it even better than we imagined. I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out, and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic it looked.
The whole experience with Amber was brilliant from beginning to end. From the initial cake tasting, choosing our flavours and trying to narrow down the options (which was genuinely so difficult because there were so many amazing choices!), through to the regular updates and communication, we couldn't fault a thing. Amber was so lovely, professional and easy to deal with throughout the whole process.
And, of course, the most important part the cake tasted incredible! Every flavour was delicious, and our guests loved it just as much as we did.
We may have no plans to ever need another wedding cake, but I would absolutely consider Cakes by Amber for any future cake we might need because her work really is that incredible. Thank you so much, Amber, for creating such a beautiful and delicious part of our wedding day

We couldn’t have asked for a better baker than Amber! 🤍 She was absolutely amazing from start to finish — so helpful, accommodating, patient and genuinely lovely.
She made the whole process completely stress-free and went above and beyond to bring our ideas to life. The cake looked stunning and tasted incredible, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it!
Amber was just awesome, and we’re so grateful she was part of our special day. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough! 🎂🤍 -

Amazing! 100% Recommend.
Amber is amazing at what she does. She helped design our cake, give us ideas we never even considered and then offered a tasting session so we could decide what flavours. Amber kept in touch with us every step of the way and delivered the cake on the day on time and in perfect condition. She kept us updated once delivered (we asked for this but is optional!) You can tell how much care to detail she takes by the product. Thank you so much for our dream cake. -

The Wedding Cake of Dreams!
We first met Amber at the Quirky Wedding Fayre and were instantly drawn to her beautiful designs. We then got to talking to her and discovered how much of an artist she truly was, and the samples were delicious! We knew straight away we wanted her to make our cake as we didn’t want anything simple and boring. When we had our consultation with her, it was like she’d locked into our brains and had the most amazing ideas for our cake that perfectly summed up us and our relationship. The testers were completely delicious too; and we had to be rolled out of it! The hardest decision was picking the flavours for the cake. Amber was so communicative throughout the whole process (which was perfect for myself and my husband as we are both big planners) and we always knew what was happening with our cake and when. On our wedding day, I first saw our cake when we entered the reception part of the venue and was blown away by the masterpiece Amber had created, it looked even better than I could have imagined! Our guests and photographer were in awe and even our wedding coordinator had said she’d never seen a cake so beautiful! The true testament though was the taste - at the end of the night there was only a few pieces left which myself and my husband enjoyed sat in bed debriefing about the wedding at 1am!
Id recommend Amber for any and all cakes in your life, you won’t be disappointed! -

I found amber through a friend, i then went to local wedding fairs and had a look at ambers cake designs and from that moment i knew i wanted my cake make by amber, she is such a lovely lady, very welcoming, and very clever, amber had kept in contact throughout our wedding process. We also enjoyed a wedding cake taster to decide which flavours we would prefer, our cake not only looked amazing but tasted divine, we cannot fault anything, and im sure our guests felt the same as we havnt been left with any to save 😀 ❤️ very highly recommend -

I couldn’t recommend Amber more highly, the whole process was easy and Amber listened to all our ideas to make our dream cake happen not only did it look stunning with the purple fade effect but the personal touches of the figures on top and having our pet cats feature on the cake as well just completed the look and now we also have some cool keep sakes too! But the cake didn’t only look good it tasted amazing as well and all our guests were very happy stuffing their faces! -

Amber is so professional and absolutely amazing at what she does, she make our wedding cake and it was possible the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, I really didn’t want to cut it, she captured absolutely everything we wanted and it looked incredible I would 100% recommend her.
They always say you get what you paid for and Amber is worth every penny she put so much work in to make it look absolutely amazing.
But I also think she was very competitive, she delivered it on the day of our wedding all the way and then text me to say it had been delivered safely and I was so excited to see it. -

Amber brought our vision to life and created the most perfect wedding cake!
From our very first conversation to the final delivery, she was an absolute joy to work with. Professional, creative, and genuinely invested in making everything just right.
We over-ordered on serving sizes and were fully prepared to be eating leftover cake for the foreseeable… but somehow 85 guests managed to finish a 120-serving cake!! It’s rare to see a wedding cake completely devoured, which really speaks to just how amazing it tasted!
Thank you, Amber, for exceeding every expectation. We would recommend you a thousand times over! -

5 stars on literally everything. Our cake was beautiful and tasted AMAZING! That aside thougg, me and my husband booked amber almost 2 years before our wedding and she helped make the cake planning so smooth and stress free. She answered any questions within a few hours. Provided photos, ideas and an open mind to anything we suggested. She provided guidance and advice for anything we needed. Amber traveled to deliver our cake all the way from lowestoft, to kings lynn! We could not have asked for anyone better. If you are looking for an affordable, helpful and just all round lovely cake maker, Amber is the lady for you!
Amber, thank you so so soooo much for all your help and hardworking you've put forward for us and this cake. You have been phenomenal with everything and we cannot thank you enough for helping make our wedding day everything we ever dreamed of! Xx
