Sophie did my hair for my wedding and wow it was absolutely gorgeous! From the minute I met Sophie I knew I would be in safe hands on my wedding day, not only is she so talented at what she does she is so lovely and professional! At my trial Sophie tried a couple of hair down styles I wanted and was honest and consultative, she gave me some great advice and put togther a schedule for me and my bridesmaids which was a huge help especially as there were 7 of us to get ready on the day. The communication from the minute I enquired with Sophie was amazing and instantly I felt at ease knowing I could trust Sophie especially when there was so much to organise. On the wedding day, Sophie went above and beyond with helping me get into my dress and making sure everything was perfect. I was so pleased with my Hollywood Wave style and she stayed until the last minute for final touch ups. She did my hair, my mums and my bridesmaids along with Emily who was also incredible and the bridal party looked absolutely gorgeous! Everyone was so pleased with their hair and it lasted all day. Both Sophie and Emily are amazing at what they do and I am so glad I booked them for my special day. The girls also took videos of me and the bridal party which are memories I will cherish forever. I cannot thank you enough for making me look and feel confident and beautiful, I will never forget what a huge part you played on my wedding day❤️ -

Sophie did such an amazing job of my hair on my wedding day. It was exactly what I had envisioned. Everyone commented on how amazing it looked and it held all day!
She is so friendly and it was an absolute pleasure to have you with me on the morning of my wedding. She went above and beyond, from helping me into my dress to capturing those “first look” moments with my bridal party.
I would highly recommend Sophie!!!
If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing! Sophie would be my first port of call. -

My experience with Sophie on the morning of my wedding day was everything I could have ever asked for, she was at my hotel door at 6:30am on the dot and ready to go! Mine and all my wedding parties hair was exactly what we had wished for. She even stayed with me until the moment just before I walked down the aisle to make sure I was looking my absolute best! -

To be honest, I was very worried about my hair for my wedding day as I have long and thick hair and less experienced people often struggle with my hair. After our trial I knew I had nothing to worry about! I had one more thing ticked off my long list of to-do's. Hair sorted ✔️
Sophie was amazing from the start with her service! I honestly loved my hair so much, it was exactly how I wanted it. When I arrived to the venue on the wedding day, she was already there and set up. And because of how well she secured it, I didn't have any worries that it might come apart during the night with all my dancing.
I can't recommend her enough! Your day is blessed if she is a part of it. -

Sophie at Under the Veil has done my hair a couple of times for when I have been a guest at a wedding. I’ve been so impressed and blow away by her creativity and professionalism that I’ve booked her for my upcoming wedding in September 2024! There’s no one else I’d rather have do my hair on my special day! -

Such a kind and professional service.
I find people touching my hair a massive no no and the thought of being my wedding knowing how I wanted it i was so worried but having Sophie I found my experience absolutely amazing. She gave such a rapid response in messaging and when meeting for a pre trial sophie was comfortable to talk to, gave me advice and also gave me the look I wanted! My hair lasted till I got into bed on the wedding night, not one pin came out it was so secure, didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable, didn't feel heavy on my head like other stylist I have had In the past, i couldn't thank her enough as she evem helped get my wedding dress on so I could surprise all the bridesmaids at once.
The assistant she also brought with her on the day was also such a kind and down to earth lady with such professionalism.
I would recommend this business to anyone wanting a stressful free wedding hair who also stays till the last fit! -

Wedding saviour
30th December 2021
After being let down by my original stylist, just 3 days before my wedding I had no time for a trial, all the girls had was a picture I’d sent. I couldn’t have asked for two better stylists, who made me feel so at ease.
Not only did they save my hair but they even helped me get into my wedding dress, and stayed till the last moment.
Even now I still bring up how they saved the day for me and my bridesmaid, From the bottom of my heart Thank you x

Oh my goodness, I was OBSESSED with my wedding hair! Sophie is honestly a magician when it comes to hair! She made me feel so super confident on my wedding day, relaxed and did an absolutely stunning job on me, my mum and all my bridesmaids! I felt so super lucky to have her with me on my wedding morning, not only making me super relaxed and excited but making me feel 100%! Sophie thank you will never be enough! -
