So thrilled!!
After years of having my hair and makeup done and never really loving the outcome I had just resigned myself to accepting “just ok”. Rachel and Hannah absolutely blew me away!! My hair and makeup looked amazing and I absolutely LOVED the results. Seriously, would love to have these two awesome professionals for every event. And, they are just really great humans, as well. I can’t thank Rachel enough for her empathy, composure, compassion and kindness on my special day. Just an incredible person to talk to. Her services were incredible, I felt so beautiful and she listened so well to what I needed. She went above and beyond and fully accepted me for who I am, included my chaotic family and our very DIY style wedding ceremony, and she even helped get me down the aisle. What a gem! My family and I will remember her always! Highly highly recommend. -

Rachel, Hannah and Michelle were absolutely amazing! They made us feel so relaxed in the morning and they made each person feel special and listened to. Our hair and make up lasted all day long! Guests kept commenting on how Jen's ringlets were still going strong at midnight! We had a range of ages being done from age 11 to age 81 and everyone was so happy. Rachel and Hannah were incredible! They spent time at our trial getting to know me and my Mum, talking through exactly what we wanted, then spent time before the day and on the day making sure they understood what everyone wanted, giving advice on how we can achieve it and making any changes from the trial. They had my hair and make up as well as my Mum's, Mother of the Groom and three bridesmaids, and it was perfect with timings working out well and everything staying in place all day. I loved my make up and hair and had so many compliments throughout the day (even people thinking my long extensions were my real hair! Maraculously grown in a few weeks since I last saw them haha). Rachel and Hannah went above and beyond creating a calm morning getting ready and then helping us all with the inevitable rush when taxis arrived, making sure everything was perfect and we had pictures before we left. I honestly can’t recommend Rachel Spence enough! She truly went above and beyond for me on my wedding day. After my original artist cancelled last minute, she stepped in and completely saved the day.
From the moment Rachel arrived, she made me feel so calm, comfortable, and at ease which meant everything on such an important morning. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional throughout.
I was absolutely delighted with the final look. Rachel did such an exceptional job and really listened to what I wanted. I felt like the best version of myself, and that’s all thanks to her talent and care. I felt she was fantastic value for money. Rachel had also styled my step mums hair for the day with curls and she was really pleased with her hair.
If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and amazingly skilled, I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you again for being such a big part of my special day 🤍Rachel Spence MUA's reply:

The morning of our wedding on 14th Feb 2026 was such a relaxed, happy experience thanks to Rachel and her team (Hannah, Faith and Michelle). All the ladies were so friendly, lovely and professional and put up with the 8 of us coming and going and disappearing in the venue!! It felt like such a lovely pamper morning and nothing was rushed. They all went above and beyond, with Rachel making sure I had food and prosecco when my bridesmaids were AWOL 😂
The whole team were brilliant with my younger bridesmaids (14, 13 and 12) as well, making sure they were happy and comfortable, as well as with us older ones.
I wasn't able to have a trial due to other commitments I had but having a WhatsApp group chat with everyone for sharing our ideas and inspo made it all so much easier getting everyone's ideas in one place ahead of the day. Rachel and her team listened to what we wanted and definitely delivered - our hair and makeup was perfect, and exactly what we'd all hoped for 🥰 It all lasted so well throughout the day and evening, even with a lot of jumping about on the dancefloor!
I can't recommend Rachel and her team enough! Thank you so so much for helping to make my wedding morning so perfect ❤️ -
