Lisa was just absolutely wonderful for my bridal make up. At the trial she really took the time to understand what I wanted and play about with different looks until I was happy. She had great communication on the run up to the day, giving me tips and tricks to make sure my skin was looking glowy.
On the day itself, Lisa was super relaxing and calming. She did my make up to an extremely high standard and worked around the hairdressers to ensure I was ready in plenty of time. She even brang the veil to the church after we forgot! I cannot recommend her work or her positive calming influence enough. 10/10 would recommend.Lisa Power Makeup's reply:

I really can't rate Lisa highly enough. I've never had my makeup done professionally before so was very nervous when I went for my trial. Lisa made me feel so very welcome and at ease, and from that moment on she supported me and my confidence grew leading up to my wedding. Lisa was not only my makeup artist on the day she helped me get into my dress, she did my sons ties and button holes and not only did she make me look beautiful she made me feel beautiful. She has a very calming and caring aura and nothing is too much trouble, she shares all her knowledge and tips and after having the same routine with my daily makeup for over 30 years, this has been invaluable for me. I have learned from Lisa how to apply my makeup differently and am loving trying new products, colours and looks. I love how I looked in my wedding photos, and am loving my new makeup and skincare regime, all thanks to Lisa.Lisa Power Makeup's reply:

Wedding makeup
Lisa was absolutely fantastic from the moment I sent my initial enquiry. She was so warm, calm and professional and nothing was too much trouble. I have never felt as confident and comfortable and she listened to exactly what I wanted. The make up was flawless but it still looked like me! From the very first message, Lisa was amazing. She is friendly, accommodating and supportive through every step of the process. Lisa did the make up for myself and my daughter and explained every product she used, explored our expectations and we came up with a plan for a look that worked for both of us.
I simply cannot find a single thing to fault, and on the wedding day, it felt I had an extra friend who was just happening to do the makeup for me.

I had never met Lisa before the day of my son’s wedding but she put me at ease right from the moment I met her. As a lady of a certain age I didn’t want a heavy makeup but more of a natural makeup but definitely a special occasion makeup. Lisa gave me a beautiful makeup base with gorgeous eyes and lips to compliment my outfit. I was extremely impressed with my finished look and I would recommend Lisa not just for her wonderful makeup but for the whole experience. Thank you Lisa xxLisa Power Makeup's reply:

I can’t thank Lisa enough for the amazing job she did with my makeup and my bridesmaids’ on my wedding day. From the moment we first spoke, she was kind, professional, and completely reassuring. She did a makeup trial with me a few months before the big day, which made such a difference. It gave us time to try out a few ideas, find the perfect look, and make sure I felt 100% comfortable with everything. So when the wedding day came, everything was easy, calm, and already planned out.
On the morning of the wedding, she arrived on time, kept to the schedule, and created a relaxed and fun atmosphere while getting everyone ready. She worked her magic on each of my bridesmaids, making sure everyone looked and felt their best, while still letting each person’s style and personality shine through. My makeup was flawless and lasted all day and night — through tears, dancing, and everything in between. I honestly felt the most beautiful I ever have.
If you’re looking for someone who’s not only incredibly skilled but also organised, reliable, and genuinely lovely to be around on such a special day, I couldn’t recommend Lisa more!

Make Up Confidence
After our fabulous Make Up Trial I had absolute confidence my make up would be one less thing to worry about on The Day - and I was right! We have a lovely evening and, after a chat about what level of make up I would feel comfortable with, we experimented with some different “looks”. On The Day Lisa was prompt, professional and her calm approach was infectious!
I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa for your wedding make up, or any other big event make up for that matter.
