Fran is an incredibly talented makeup artist and just a lovely person to be around. She really listened to what I wanted, both at my trial and on the day and she made me feel so at ease. Both my makeup and my bridesmaids' makeup looked absolutely incredible and lasted all day. Fran's assistant also did an incredible job - my mum was so nervous to get her makeup done but Tamara was able to bring in some of my mum's usual makeup style while adding that extra special something and she felt so happy and confident. -

Thank you Fran for amazing wedding make up and hair! Fran was a pleasure to work with and completely matched the style I wanted, a more natural look that felt like me and that lasted the full day (even though it was the height of a heatwave in May!) right off from the initial trial she got what I wanted and on the day made the process very relaxed and lovely! Would highly recommend! -

Fran was absolutely amazing, both on the lead up to my big day and on the day itself. In the lead up Fran was flexible with her timing for my trial, made me feel really comfortable and confident and was easy going with trying a few styles for my hair. She was responsive on both emails and Whatsapp, helped me plan timings around how long my friend's hair would take and ensured I would have enough time to not feel mega stressed!
On the day Fran arrived early and set up quickly ready for my maid of honour and I, Fran made my MOH, who never had her hair and makeup done before, feel beautiful and confident and listened too about what she wanted. Holly (MoH) looked absolutely gorgeous.
Fran did my hair and makeup beautifully, we were battling pretty extreme heat on the day but she ensured my curls stayed in place and makeup didn't sweat off!! Everyone complimented both mine and Holly's makeup and hair throughout the day.
Fran really stepped in, supported and organized the ladies around me when my dress broke 30 minutes before my ceremony!! The zip was broken/ twisted in a relatively "unfixable" way - Fran figured out what was wrong quickly, gathered my ladies and instructed them to support her in straightening my dress so the zip would go up... Which it did!! Thank God.
I honestly do not know what I would have done without Fran's calm, competent and quick thinking head as I am an absolute panicker!
Thank you again Fran for your absolutely beautiful service, my hair and makeup was everything I had wanted and I felt beautiful on my big day xx

Lovely Fran - thank you!!
Fran has a lovely way about her, really helping to put me at ease before my big day (I was very anxious about everything!). The make up/hair trial was a great opportunity to ensure she knew exactly what look I was after in order to feel like me, and she really took the time to perfect it. She was very efficient in the morning to ensure my bridesmaids and I were all ready in time to walk down to the church, and we all looked beautiful - thanks again Fran!!Frances Done Bride's reply:

Fran completely blew me away with how she took my requests and made me look the most beautiful I’ve ever looked in my entire life. She didn’t cake my face full of makeup and turn me into a different person, which was always my fear when getting married, she just elevated my natural features. Calm, talented and truly amazing ✨
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist. From the moment Fran arrived, her calm and reassuring energy set the tone for the entire morning, helping me feel completely relaxed and confident. Despite a grey day and challenging lighting conditions, she adapted effortlessly and created the most beautiful, flawless look. My hair and makeup lasted perfectly all day without needing any touch-ups. I booked Fran to do my hair and make up for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier that I did. She understood exactly what I was looking for, even though I gave her a bit of a challenging task by asking to look 'glam' but also natural! She achieved the look I was after perfectly - the best I've ever looked in my life, which is exactly how it should be on your wedding day. My skin looked flawless, and the colours she chose complimented my features so well. My hair stayed in all day and I received so many compliments. I couldn't recommend anyone more!! I am so glad I found Fran to do my hair and make up for my wedding day. From the trial to the wedding day, it was easy to communicate with and arrange times. I had quite a few bridesmaids etc. that wanted their hair and/or make up done and timings were perfect for a stress free wedding morning. Fran enlisted another artist, Helen, to help, who was also fantastic. During the wedding morning, Fran made everyone feel at ease and was professional but also fun. Myself and my bridal party had such a wonderful morning and Fran helped make it even better. My make up was flawless; impeccable colour match, not cake-y or dry in any way. I felt confident that no matter what Fran did, it would be beautiful, which is what I felt. My hair was also done simply and beautifully, which is exactly what I had wished for. Both stayed looking perfect, even after being on a blustery beach for pictures! Right up until we had to travel to the venue, Fran stayed and helped with final touch ups, even to helping me fasten my shoes! If you need a make up artist for your wedding Fran is the perfect choice. -

Fran was such a pleasure to have as the hair and make up artist for our wedding and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Fran has such a lovely relaxed presence, she makes you feel really comfortable and is super attentive to what you want. I really enjoyed the trial which was a great way to get to know Fran, and she was a lovely calming presence for getting ready on our wedding day. She was super organised and brilliant at planning the timing schedule for hair and make up for myself, my mum and my bridesmaid meaning we arrived at the ceremony well on time! Our hair and make up was perfect, to be honest I looked better than I could have imagined and hair and make up stayed intact all day :) I would 100% use Fran's services again, she is super skilled and all round lovely - thank you so much Fran x -
