The entire experience with Fran was incredible from start to finish. She is so warm and friendly, and understood exactly the look I wanted for my wedding day. What she created was absolutely perfect.
Fran really is a master of her craft, as well as being such a lovely person. From the very beginning, I felt completely calm and confident in her hands, which is unusual for me as I’m very particular! I think that speaks volumes about her skill, professionalism and ability to make you feel at ease.
I would 100% book Fran again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is not only exceptionally talented, but genuinely lovely to have around on such a special day.Frances Done Bride's reply:

I chose Fran to do my wedding hair and make-up, and it was hands down one of the best decisions I made for the day.
As someone who rarely wears make-up, finding the right make-up artist was incredibly important to me. As an Indian bride, I looked at a lot of Indian make-up artists, but I found that many of the looks were heavier than what I wanted. So when I came across Fran on Hitched and saw that she specialised in natural, glowy make-up, I was immediately drawn to her work. After seeing the looks she had created, I knew she was exactly what I was looking for.
I didn't have much time before the wedding, so I didn't opt for a trial. Instead, I sent Fran some inspiration photos of the kind of look I wanted, and completely trusted her to bring it to life on the day.
On the wedding morning, Fran arrived right on time and could immediately sense my nervous energy. She was so calming and reassuring, which I will always appreciate. We had a great conversation about loads of different things, which really helped put me at ease. ❤️
Most importantly, Fran recreated the looks I had shown her so perfectly. My make-up was an absolute dream come true! I look back at photographs of myself and still can't believe how lovely my hair and make-up looked. My partner even said it was the most beautiful he had ever seen me look, which meant so much to me.
Fran also came back later in the day to create a second look for my evening party. She completely changed up my hair and gave me a slightly more glamorous, party-style make-up look while still making sure I felt like myself.
I really can't recommend Fran enough. If you're looking for a hair and make-up artist who creates beautiful, natural and glowy looks, Fran is amazing.

Fran is an incredibly talented makeup artist and just a lovely person to be around. She really listened to what I wanted, both at my trial and on the day and she made me feel so at ease. Both my makeup and my bridesmaids' makeup looked absolutely incredible and lasted all day. Fran's assistant also did an incredible job - my mum was so nervous to get her makeup done but Tamara was able to bring in some of my mum's usual makeup style while adding that extra special something and she felt so happy and confident.Frances Done Bride's reply:

Thank you Fran for amazing wedding make up and hair! Fran was a pleasure to work with and completely matched the style I wanted, a more natural look that felt like me and that lasted the full day (even though it was the height of a heatwave in May!) right off from the initial trial she got what I wanted and on the day made the process very relaxed and lovely! Fran was absolutely amazing, both on the lead up to my big day and on the day itself. In the lead up Fran was flexible with her timing for my trial, made me feel really comfortable and confident and was easy going with trying a few styles for my hair. She was responsive on both emails and Whatsapp, helped me plan timings around how long my friend's hair would take and ensured I would have enough time to not feel mega stressed!
On the day Fran arrived early and set up quickly ready for my maid of honour and I, Fran made my MOH, who never had her hair and makeup done before, feel beautiful and confident and listened too about what she wanted. Holly (MoH) looked absolutely gorgeous.
Fran did my hair and makeup beautifully, we were battling pretty extreme heat on the day but she ensured my curls stayed in place and makeup didn't sweat off!! Everyone complimented both mine and Holly's makeup and hair throughout the day.
Fran really stepped in, supported and organized the ladies around me when my dress broke 30 minutes before my ceremony!! The zip was broken/ twisted in a relatively "unfixable" way - Fran figured out what was wrong quickly, gathered my ladies and instructed them to support her in straightening my dress so the zip would go up... Which it did!! Thank God.
I honestly do not know what I would have done without Fran's calm, competent and quick thinking head as I am an absolute panicker!
Thank you again Fran for your absolutely beautiful service, my hair and makeup was everything I had wanted and I felt beautiful on my big day xx

Lovely Fran - thank you!!
Fran has a lovely way about her, really helping to put me at ease before my big day (I was very anxious about everything!). The make up/hair trial was a great opportunity to ensure she knew exactly what look I was after in order to feel like me, and she really took the time to perfect it. She was very efficient in the morning to ensure my bridesmaids and I were all ready in time to walk down to the church, and we all looked beautiful - thanks again Fran!!Frances Done Bride's reply:

Fran completely blew me away with how she took my requests and made me look the most beautiful I’ve ever looked in my entire life. She didn’t cake my face full of makeup and turn me into a different person, which was always my fear when getting married, she just elevated my natural features. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist. From the moment Fran arrived, her calm and reassuring energy set the tone for the entire morning, helping me feel completely relaxed and confident. Despite a grey day and challenging lighting conditions, she adapted effortlessly and created the most beautiful, flawless look. I booked Fran to do my hair and make up for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier that I did. She understood exactly what I was looking for, even though I gave her a bit of a challenging task by asking to look 'glam' but also natural! She achieved the look I was after perfectly - the best I've ever looked in my life, which is exactly how it should be on your wedding day. My skin looked flawless, and the colours she chose complimented my features so well. My hair stayed in all day and I received so many compliments. I couldn't recommend anyone more!!
