Make-up Review
I would highly recommend Sam, she did such beautiful make up for myself as bride, the bridesmaids and my sister-in-law. Sam was perfect from start to finish and worked brilliantly with the hairdresser. A true professional, with fantastic products. -

Made me look beautiful
I met Sam at a Braxted Park wedding show and I knew straight away I wanted her to do my makeup for my big day. I met her again a couple of months before the wedding for a trial where she tried out a look. On the big day we made some slight changes from my feedback and she made me look perfect. She uses good quality make up and you can tell she has so much experience as she just knew what would look good. She is also very friendly and kind. I came across Beautiful You many times whilst looking for a make up artist and then happened to see them at Chelmsford Race Course - my decision was made. Sam was so approachable and responsive from the minute I messaged her and we got my trial booked in in good time. I came away so happy with the wedding make up trial and couldn’t wait for the big day.
The big day came many months later and Sam made the morning smooth and stress free. She’s very professional and good at her job and made me and 4 others look stunning!
I would highly recommend Sam and Beautiful You for anyone’s big day and you can see her lovely work on her instagram. That’s how I was inspired! So natural and glam and can give you different levels of coverage depending on your preference.Beautiful You Makeup Artist's reply:

Sam did an exceptional job with the makeup for my wedding. As an older bride, I really appreciated how she understood exactly the look I wanted — natural, elegant, and perfectly suited to my skin. She worked seamlessly with the hairdresser and created beautiful, flattering looks for everyone, from my mum to my sister and myself.
Sam has a real talent for enhancing each person’s features, regardless of age, making everyone feel confident and radiant. The makeup lasted perfectly all day and photographed beautifully. She was professional, great fun to have around, and excellent value for money.

Sam wedding makeup
Sam was absolutely amazing and I was over the moon with my make up. We firstly had a trial where we talked in detail about which look I liked and all of the different products. This put me at ease straight away so I had no stress leading up to the wedding day. We also were able to discuss the looks for the bridesmaids too so they knew what to expect. On the day Sam arrived in plenty of time which helped the day go so smoothly! Her friendliness and warmth made it feel like she was part of the wedding party and made everyone feel so comfortable. I had Sam and her colleague for my wedding day where they did the make up for myself, my mum and my five bridal party and they made us all feel like princesses. They were very professional and timely - even to the point of fitting a guest in at the end which was lovely. The makeup was all day wearing and I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day. The bridal trial was also a lovely experience where I got to know Sam before the big day and we got an idea of the makeup I would like for my wedding. Definitely recommend her for a special occasion. -

Sam was an absolute dream from start to finish. From my wedding makeup trial at her home, she instantly put me and my mum at ease with her relaxed, friendly and down to earth nature. She really listened to what we wanted and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the process.
On the big day, she was incredible! So calm, organised and such a lovely presence to have around on the morning of my wedding. She did makeup for me (the bride), both mums and my bridesmaids and every single one of us felt so beautiful and confident. The makeup looked flawless all day and photographed perfectly.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Sam highly enough! She is so talented, professional and such a genuine person. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel your absolute best while keeping things relaxed and enjoyable, Sam is your girl!
