The Best HMU Artist!
Sylvie was nothing short of incredible and played such a huge role in making my wedding day the best it could be. She was so thoughtful, flexible, caring and professional from the trial to the day itself. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, she absolutely nailed a simple but glam look for me that I loved. Sylvie is also just the kindest and most incredible hype woman. My bridesmaids and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her and her lovely assistant, Naveen, who contributed to the wedding morning in such a lovely way. Sylvie event went above and beyond, staying until after the ceremony for touch-ups just in time for photos. Sylvie was like the bridesmaid I didn't have. Hair and make up totally flawless, I've never looked hotter (verbatim from my best friends) and I just left Sylvie totally in charge of my looks. This girl is a genius - book her immediately to feel like the best version of yourself (hair and make up lasts ALL NIGHT....and I sweat a lot!!!). I truly don’t have enough words to express how incredible Sylvie and her amazing assistant Naveen were on my wedding day. After a previous hair and makeup trial disaster, I was feeling nervous and a bit wary, but Sylvie completely turned that experience around. From the moment she arrived, her bubbly, warm, and bright energy filled the room, instantly putting me at ease. She wasn’t just a hair and makeup artist, she became a calming presence and a true part of the wedding morning magic.
Sylvie and Naveen did the hair and makeup for me (the bride), four bridesmaids, and two mothers, and every single one of us looked and felt absolutely stunning. She listened to what each of us wanted and somehow made it all look effortless, enhancing our natural features rather than masking them. I received so many compliments throughout the day, and I honestly felt the most beautiful I ever have, like the very best version of myself.
What made the experience even more special was how Sylvie and Naveen truly joined the celebration, they bopped and sang along to my wedding morning playlist, filling the room with fun and joy. It felt like getting ready with friends. They slipped into the day like they were part of the family, so natural, warm, and full of light. The vibe was calm, organised, and filled with laughter, and everyone was ready on time without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for someone who not only brings unbelievable skill, but also heart, warmth, and good energy to one of the most important mornings of your life, Sylvie is that person. The girl squad A-team you want with you on your special day
Sylvie was amazing from the initial consultation right until the end. Sylvie made me feel at ease instantly upon meeting her and the trial was so relaxed and special.
During the trial, Sylvie spent hours on my hair clipping it up (I say hours because my hair is very thick) and I loved it. We tried on my different veils (I had 2 for the day) to make sure they sat & felt right. But it wasn’t until later that day that I took all the pins out of my hair and actually loved (even more) the effortless but glam curls that were left behind when my hair was down. I felt guilty that I now wanted my hair down for my special day after Sylvie had spent so much time pinning it up. I messaged Sylvie my thoughts and straight away she was more than accommodating in doing a 2nd trial free of charge for my hair to be half up/half down.
Sylvie listened to every detail of my make up requests as I wanted a minimalistic look so I could still see my freckles and nothing too heavy on the eyes. It was PERFECT and lasted ALL day & night.
Sylvie went above and beyond in the trial and on my wedding day with her assistant. I had 4 bridesmaid and my mum, all who were having a mixture of hair & make up done and Sylvie’s team were amazing!! The atmosphere in the morning was so relaxed and everyone teamed together; Sylvie’s team, photographer, videographer and bridal party to make the morning very special.
I couldn’t recommend a better or more professional makeup artist/hair stylist. Honestly, thank you SO much.

I met Sylvie at a wedding fair and she made me feel at ease straight away. I don't wear much make up and was worried about looking too made-up for my wedding but she listened to my concerns and gave me a lovely classic look (both hair and make up). After my wedding I booked a private make-up lesson with her and it was so lovely to catch up as she was genuinely interested to hear how the day had gone.@Makeupsylvie - Pro Hair and Makeup Artist's reply:

Makeup and hair
Had booked with another makeup artist before I found Sylvie and was very dissapointed. Found Sylvie, went for a trial and was over the moon, I had found a gem! She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! She was very professional and a perfectionist and would finish her work only when I was happy. On top of that, she was very down to earth and so fun to talk to and i felt very safe with her! My sisters and mom also loved her work. I couldnt recommend Sylvie more for soon to be brides, you will not regret it!!@Makeupsylvie - Pro Hair and Makeup Artist's reply:

Sylvie was exceptional in every way. She helped make my special day even more special. She is attentive, personable, patient, professional, friendly….all the things you would want your make-up artist to be. She was more like a friend. Everyone said my make-up looked natural and stunning and was asking who my make-up artist was. I would highly recommend Sylvie. She took the ideas I had about how I wanted my make-up to be and went above and beyond my expectations. I would strongly and highly recommend her for any occasion….she’s the BEST!!!. Sylvie did makeup for myself, my mum and my bridesmaid for my wedding in 2012. I loved my makeup and it has dated really well. She interpreted my idea perfectly and had some great suggestions which I hadn't thought of. The makeup lasted all day. Sylvie is a wonderful person to have around on your wedding day. She is warm and has such a positive energy and also very professional and experienced. -
