Amanda did my hair and make-up alongside my 2 bridesmaids for my wedding in October 2024. She was so fab at the make up trial, we were more than happy to choose Amanda for our special day and were thrilled that Amanda was happy to travel to us for this.
Amanda arrived early to our venue and remembered all of the special requests and preferences for our hair and make up. She didn’t mind at all when we changed our mind about a few things and she was such a calming influence on our morning. Amanda is such a kind and friendly person and made sure that our make up and hair were absolutely perfect before the ‘I do’s’. We are so glad Amanda was part of our bridal prep!
Prior to the wedding day, both Amanda and Helen were so organised and thorough. They kept in contact in the run-up to the wedding and promptly replied to any queries and last minute niggles before the big day.
We really couldn’t fault Lipstick & Curls and would thoroughly recommend them to any soon-to-be brides or for other make-up and hair services. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day! :) -

Glowy, natural results + great presence
We hired Goshka from Lipstick and Curls for our 2 day wedding. She did the makeup and hair for my mum and me for our western ceremony, and then my makeup and hair for our South Asian ceremony. Goshka was really personable and made me feel relaxed and excited on both big days. She did a great job balancing making sure I looked dramatic enough to befit the occasion, while still making sure I looked like myself! Word of advice: We budgeted 1/2 an extra hour both days in case of unexpected snafus, transit issues, etc, and were glad to have done it. The hair and makeup lasted all night, through dancing and eating and many hugs. My mum was also happy with her results. For Day 2: Goshka was game to try pinning together my elaborate South Asian bridal outfit and the hairstyle needed to support it. We asked for help from the specialist makeup person my in-laws had hired, which was really useful - make sure you have a strong game plan because those outfits are difficult! Communications with Lipstick and Curls were smooth throughout the process, and we have absolutely no regrets. Thank you Goshka for everything! -

Ema from Lipstick & Curls was amazing on our wedding day. She was so efficient and professional, while also making everyone feel special and beautiful. She created the perfect vintage look for me, exactly as I had hoped, and it lasted perfectly throughout the day.
What stood out most was how she set the right tone for the morning — calm, supportive, and reassuring at a time when I was feeling very nervous. Having her there made such a difference, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. -

Goshka and her assistant Diana were nothing short of miracle workers! My wife and I are a queer couple and both Goshka and Diana were not only incredibly capable, they were both fabulously kind, considerate, and professional.
Their range for their makeup and hair styling was also very impressive. They styled my shorter more butch hair very well and made sure both my hairpiece and veil stayed put. For my wife, who has much longer and wavier hair, they ensured her curls stayed bouncy and gorgeous all day and night long which is usually quite a struggle to achieve.
They also together took very good care of our bridesmaids and mother of the bride. They worked swiftly and with great care, and everyone looked fantastic even across several different hair types and complexions. We really can't thank Lipstick and Curls enough, and you would be in excellent hands by choosing them. -

Lipstick and Curls provided a brilliant service from start to finish. They really listened to what I needed and matched me with the lovely Goshka. I was quite nervous about the process as I rarely wear make up but Goshka was super patient and flexible, willing to try different things or use my own products. On the day she was the perfect calm and reassuring presence and the bridal party were all thrilled with their hair and make up. Thank you again Goshka. -

We had two artists on the day, and both were punctual, flexible, and incredibly friendly. Helen and Amanda from the bookings team were quick to respond, super helpful with all my questions, and made organising my wedding an absolute breeze. I’d recommend them without hesitation - 100%! -

Helen was such a star behind the scenes—super responsive, organised, and so helpful throughout the whole process.
She made scheduling everything a breeze and was always quick to reply to any questions or changes, which made planning so much less stressful.
The makeup artists (Madalina and Di) were incredibly talented and me and my bridal team absolutely loved our make up. It was a very hot day, yet our make up stayed fresh the whole time.
Thank you for making the logistics so smooth and for being such a kind, calm presence throughout! Everything ran like clockwork thanks to you.
