Everyone needs Jo on their wedding day!
From the moment I met Jo, I knew I’d choose her as my wedding day make-up artist. She was so easy to get on with and knew exactly how I wanted my make-up to look, even before I did! I didn’t want to look too “made up”, just natural and radiant, but the best I’ve ever looked... and Jo achieved that. Jo did my make up, as well as my 4 bridesmaids, my sister and my mum but not once did she get flustered. Everyone looked a million dollars! Our wedding day was extremely hot but even by the end of the day, no one looked shiny and no one’s make up had moved an inch. I’ll never know how she achieved that. Jo is absolutely brilliant!
Jo did my make up, 5 bridesmaids and my mother, and she was absolutely AMAZING.
Her approach is absolutely tailor-made, doing different looks for each person depending on their style, skin colour and type and preferences.
She took her time listening to each person and creating the ideal look.
Her makeup (as per my request) made us all look really beautiful but not "made up" - we all had so many compliments.
She was calm and easygoing, and a really lovely person. Jo was also available by email in the run-up to the wedding for any queries or tips, which I appreciated so much.

Exceptional
Jo is friendly, precise and an amazing artist. From the moment I made contact with her she was helpful and flexible with organising the trial. Before the day she also recommend products and was on hand for other beauty related questions. On the day she did mine and my bridesmaids makeup. We were all really pleased and the girls looked STUNNING!!
I cannot recommend Jo enough, she really helped towards making the day as special as it was.

Perfect!
I'd heard some horror stories of brides turning up for make up trails and things going wrong on the day - but this would never happen with Jo! She really took time to listen to what I wanted, understood and gave me my perfect look. She's super professional and reliable, and will give you loads of good pointers and tips. Miracle worker!!!
I very rarely review anything online, but after Jo did such an amazing job I felt I had to sing this talented lady's praises! ! Jo did a make up trial for me before my wedding in Italy next year. I wanted to go out there with an idea of the look I was hoping to achieve. Jo did a fantastic job, and my make up looked flawless. I just wish I could take her in the suitcase with me!!!I very rarely review anything online, but after Jo did such an amazing job I felt I had to sing this talented lady's praises! ! Jo did an amazing job!
It was such a pleasure to have Jo do my makeup for my legal wedding day. She is highly professional but at the same time she put me totally at ease and made me feel very relaxed. I had a trial with her and I feel that she really got "my look" and she was happy to tweak any bits on the actual day. Jo really is incredible
I had Jo do my make up for my wedding and she really was incredible. I never write reviews but Jo is so amazing I would highly recommend her. She is so friendly and puts you straight at ease. I had so my comments about my make up I think all my friends will now be using her to do their make up.I had Jo do my make up for my wedding and she really was incredible. Highly Recommended
Jo did my (and my mum & sister's) wedding makeup last weekend & it was a pleasure to work with her. I have sensitive skin and don't usually wear much makeup and was worried about looking and feeling as if I was plastered in it on my wedding day, but at my trial Jo created a look that was both glamourous but still quite natural and my skin felt good, and I knew I'd found the right person. Jo is very professional - promptly answered all my emails and questions, turned up on time - and also lovely to be around as she has a calming, serene vibe about her, which is just what you need on your wedding day! I had the pleasure of having Jo do the makeup for my wedding day.
She done myself, my bridesmaid and my Mum and we were all over the moon with the results, her amazing make-up skills are only part of what makes her a great make-up artist- she made me feel relaxed and calm and we chatted like we had known each other for ages. She also helped me out with several beauty tips before the wedding and was always on hand whenever I text/emailed her with questions.
I chose to have Jo stay for the day so she could do an evening look on my eyes, this made me feel fresh and ready for the night!
I would not hesitate to recommend Jo to any future brides.I had the pleasure of having Jo do the makeup for my wedding day.

Made me feel like a star for the day :)
I found Jo on Hitched whilst browsing for local make up artists, wondering if I should try and do my own makeup (which I hate doing) or for this special occasion, invest in getting some help with it! I had a trial with Jo who patiently took me from a busy young mum who has never really learnt to apply make up to a glamorous magazine style version of myself. I was amazed and I signed up with her right away! I treated all my bridesmaids to make up with Jo for the wedding day - a fantastic gift, they were all so pleased with the results and looked stunning. We all got to have our own choice of make up, Jo made sure we were all looking perfect on the day and we all felt so beautiful and confident on our arrival at the wedding.
