Hi, I am Charlotte, a qualified NVQ level 3 makeup artist. I specialise in bridal makeup. It has always been my passion from a young age, and I love to see everyone's smiles. I have also been a part of all my brides' special days. I am not just a makeup artist on the wedding day; I offer support to nervous brides, help out if there are things that need doing, and help brides get into their dresses. I am there until it is time to go, topping up any makeup as needed. I am very experienced, with over 400 weddings under my belt, offering both HQ and Airbrush makeup. I also offer hair styling. I do tattoo/bruise cover-ups using airbrush makeup, so if you have a tattoo/bruise that you do not want to show on your special day, that's not a problem. I also do makeup/hair for proms, special occasions, photoshoots, and advertisements. I am insured and mobile, covering Yorkshire and the Humberside area.
I am also trained in hair extensions so if your looking to add lenght/volume to your hair ready for the big day or just need me to put in some clip in hair extensions thats no problem at all.

More than just a Makeup artist
Charlotte was more than just a makeup and hair artist on our wedding day. She kept the good vibes going, kept me calm and everyone on time ensuring we were dressed and ready for the ceremony and pictures beforehand.
For my trial she fit me in last minute and listened to the feedback I had and changes I wanted. On the day a bridesmaid had changed her mind and Charlotte didnt stress herself and jumped right on board.
During trials it was like having a therapist as she let me rant on about the stress I was having with planning. And again reassured me and kept me calm.
Her work is beautiful and lasted all night, even the hair after head banging. Amazing value for money and felt more like a friend in the room than a vendor. Highly recommend Charlotte

The best experience! Loved every moment with her
Charlotte was absolutely wonderful! From the trial to my wedding day, she was so attentive, listened to what I wanted, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. Her hair and makeup work was beautiful, and I couldn’t have been happier with the result!
She was punctual, professional, and such a kind, lovely person to have around on such an important morning. I felt beautiful and completely myself. I would recommend her 100%! Thank you, Charlotte, for being part of my special day!

A delight to work with!
Charlotte is an incredible hair and MUA. She immediately understood my vision and slotted in so well into the day and wedding party. She was a treat to work with and so professional, knowledgeable and kind. Her focus on soft and natural make up was exactly what I wanted and my make up not only looked beautiful but didn’t feel heavy and lasted all day and night.

Disappointing experience with booking
My initial communication with Charlotte was good and she was friendly and responsive. However, I was very disappointed when my booking was cancelled simply because I asked whether she could accommodate a additional people on the wedding day.
I completely understand if she was unable to take on the extra people, which is why I asked first. Her terms and conditions also state that bookings can be amended to add or remove people, so I felt it was a reasonable question to ask.
Unfortunately, having the whole booking cancelled has really affected me, especially with my wedding now only around two months away. It has left me having to find another hair and makeup artist at short notice, which has added unnecessary stress during an already busy time.
I can't comment on the quality of her actual service as the booking was cancelled, but I found the way the situation was handled disappointing and unprofessional. I would have much preferred to simply be told that the additional people couldn't be accommodated while keeping my original booking.

Amazing experience with Charlotte!
Charlotte was super professional and friendly, and made me feel really comfy on my special day. She did my hair and makeup for my civil ceremony in August. She helped out in any way she could and worked with me to make me look my best. I wasn’t sure what kind of look I wanted but she helped figure that out, and even before the day she kept in touch with me very well and helped answer any questions I had. She’s really good at what she does.

Definitely recommend!!!!!
As someone who doesn't wear too much makeup, but wanted to be the better version of themselves for the big day, Charlotte absolutely nailed it.
She was fantastic with my daughters, when all they wanted was 'Belle' hair from Beauty and the Beast. She got it!!
My hair and makeup didn't need any touch-ups throughout the day, even tho she provided a little goody bag as a just in case.
Charlotte's bubbly personality will calm any nerves on the morning.

Amazing makeup artist
Charlotte was absolutely brilliant. The service was well in line with our budget and she nailed the look I wanted on the special day. Not only is she attentive to your requests and preferences she is also unbelievably friendly. I'm incredibly happy that we found her page for the big day!
