  Secret Wow Factor in the Heart of Bolton

  We were looking for somewhere with personality, and we definitely found that at The Cloisters. We loved that we would be spending our wedding day surrounded by beautiful architecture and stained glass windows, having that "church" feeling without any religious connotations.
  All of the staff were amazing and worked with us to make our day special. Nothing was too much trouble. They were accommodating over the pandemic, and made sure we would be able to have our day just as we would want it.
  Jackie, Diana, Wesley and Libby are the best team we could have asked for. Wesley was so in control of everything, he was a step ahead all the time and we didn't need to worry about a thing. He really is an asset to The Cloisters Team.

  Wonderful Venue & Great Staff

  I have attended here many times as a wedding photographer and also once or twice as a guest and was blown away by the quality of service provided by all members of staff! Its one of the venues of my list of places to recommend if anyone asks me!

  Disappointing

  Planned my brothers wedding here, the initial meeting promised lots, however on booking many hidden costs appear. Aside from this we were promised an events manager to help us finalise things which didn't happen. I spent the entire day running around trying to find basic items like milk for the tea/coffee stand we paid for and a cake knife we were promised. Really put a damper on the day, a real shame given the venue itself is beautiful inside.

  Saturday was everything I could have dreamed of.

  Saturday was everything I could have dreamed of and more. Thank you for making sure everything ran so smoothly and stress free. We had so many wonderful comments. Please pass on are thanks to the chef that day...the food went down a treat and impressed lots of guests. Even though the day went by so fast we can look back on an amazing day and hold those memories forever. Thanks again for helping make our day so special.

  All staff were amazing on the day and made our Day

  we had our wedding here on 19th January 19, all staff were amazing and so helpful from first meeting with Libby and then Jackie who took over the role of wedding organiser was amazing and so helpful and friendly. Lisa Jane who does all the decor such as chair covers, table centerpieces, favours, name places and table plan to any other extras you would like. there are different packages you can choose to whatever you would like included. the DJ that Ice entertainment provided which was in our package was brilliant and played genres of music we asked for. All staff were amazing on the day and made our Day even more special, they are so friendly, professional and efficient, everything just flowed and you can carry on enjoying your special day as everything is taken care of. All food was amazing , all our guests said how lovely was and how everything was cooked perfectly. All our guests were amazed at how beautiful the cloisters was . such a Hidden gem. Jackie and her team are all amazing. Thank you again for making our Day so much more special

  We got married at the Cloisters on Saturday 5th January 2019, we had an amazing day and have to thank Jackie and all her team at the Holiday Inn. Jackie made planning our wedding so easy, everything we wanted was supplied even requests just a couple of days before the wedding. There are too many people to name individually but Keith the chef must be mentioned. We hosted a dinner on the Friday evening for 24 guests and the food was amazing as was everything we had served throughout the wedding. Lisa Jane who dressed the venue, I know we chose all the different elements but WOW doesn’t do the final finish on the room justice. As I walked in to get married it took my breathe away, it was even better than I imagined it could be. All the staff were great. Our guests could not believe that such an amazing venue exists. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special and have given us such wonderful memories.

  First class service

  Absolutely amazing, first class service, the venue itself full of character. For Libby and all the staff nothing was too much trouble. The venue was decorated by Lisa Jane celebrations this lady works so hard and would recommend her to anyone. Then of course credit also must go to the head chef Keith the food was amazing he deserves a medal! Thank you, Keith, for a wonderful day and to Libby, Emma and all the staff at the Holiday Inn love to you all.
