From start to finish I knew that Emma of Married in NYC had to be our wedding planner. From the get go reading her website I felt as if I was reading a friends blog. Nothing was of too much trouble at all. Down to every last detail emma made sure that it was perfect. She picked us the absolute best officiant, photographer and florist we could of imagined. The whole day had been mapped out by Emma. I had a lot of communication with emma and were I hit the hard paths emma was there to support me. I totally would reccomend emma to anyone. Absolutely superb!!!!!

So where to start... I found Emma on the New York wedding group & me and my now husband were looking to get married out in New York but were abit scared on where to start but when Emma contacted me she make it all sound so perfect. She asked us what we wanted and how we would like the day to be & planned the whole wedding for us, she arranged for an amazing officant (Daniela) & photographer (Agaton) to be there on our day. Emma is so helpful and answered any questions we had, she was very responsive and always answered emails or texts straight away. I would 1000% recommend anyone to book with Emma if you wasn't the perfect wedding! -

I cannot give Emma enough praise! She made the whole planning & process such a breeze, always available to chat & discuss plans backed up by her never ending knowledge of all things NYC! Emma was able to take the stress out of wedding planning & made my whole experience so enjoyable, I’d actually do it all over again if I could! The vendors that Emma organised were all professional & just absolute sweethearts, they put us at ease on the day & were all genuinely so excited for us, it made the day even more special knowing they all cared how we felt & that we were their priority - despite having never met them before! I would recommend a New York Wedding to anyone & Emma would be a first choice, just amazing! -

Emma has been the most amazing advisor and support for us since day 1. In the early days we had no set plan and she was there with lots of fantastic ideas and guidance.
Throughout the whole wedding planning process she has been there for us, making things so much easier and taking away the stress - which is essential when planning a wedding so far away!
Our day was perfect and we couldn’t have done it without her, all the people she works with are fantastic and together they took our vision and made it a reality. Our flowers were gorgeous, we had an original old school cab with a lovely driver, a videographer and the most incredible glam squad! We looked and felt on top of the world.
Emma is so easy to work with, funny, knowledgeable and kind. She loves New York and loves her job and it shows in every little thing she does. We can’t thank
her enough and now class her as a lifelong friend! -

I can thoroughly recommend Marriedinnyc if you're thinking about tying the knot in New York. Emma was super responsive and positive from the outset, which is what you want when you're thinking of trusting someone else to organise something that's as big a deal as this! She took away any nerves or misgivings we (I!) had as soon as we spoke on the phone and we were left feeling only excited! It's clear when someone's passion for their work is genuine and that's definitely the case with Emma.
She was flexible and open minded and helped us shape the package to suit exactly what we wanted. I felt she was very accessible and that no question or request was too silly or too much trouble to answer (from where to stay in NYC, to what time to get our hair done and even how to pack my dress). She made a point of staying in regular contact with us while we were in NYC and texted us to make sure everything went smoothly with collecting our license and to wish us good luck on the day.
The people she works with are also great - the flowers were stunning, the registrar as genuine and lovely as Emma herself and the sample of our photographs that we received a few days after the wedding surpassed what I had hoped for. Yes, you could probably do it a bit cheaper by yourself but the peace of mind you get working with someone like Emma, the removal of stress and her contagious enthusiasm make it worth it! -
