Civil Ceremony Wedding Venue suggestions?0?

Hi,

We are looking for a wedding venue for a civil ceremony for just myself, my partner and our daughter. We are struggling to find somewhere that doesn’t require us to pay for guests that won’t be there. Anyone have any ideas please? Open to suggestions for anywhere in the Uk.

Hi,

What days are you looking on? I'd imagine that most venues would be reluctant to let you have a prime Fri-Sun slot, as this is where they'll make most of their money, but have you tried contacting venues about midweek weddings?

Also, have you considered maybe having a registry office ceremony - there are some beautiful registry office ceremony rooms out there - and then going to a fancy hotel or wherever? I was looking at places the other day for our honeymoon, and you can hire a gorgeous cabin, and you could arrange to come and have a chef cook for you in the cabin! Wedding breakfast and mini-moon all rolled into one!
