I'm new to this and i'm having trouble with two things.

1) the abbreviations - i've seen the ones on this thread but there are so many not included on this list and i can't work out what they mean?

2) I really want to get one of those countdown boxes which says there are ... days until my wedding. I tried but it hasn't worked, there is just a long link in place of the picture (you will see when i post this)

Other than that i'm finding this very helpful and interesting. I don't know where to start planning wise but I am reassured that there are lots of others with the same questions/ideas/thoughts as me .

I think you need to post the BB code into the signature box, I know it took me a few attempts of trial and error before I found one that worked! It looks like you have posted the web link rather than the code.

I just wanted to say hi! Me and the H2B have been engaged since June and have set the date 24th Aug 2013 so aaaaaaaaages away!!

I kind of have nothing to do wedding planning now, church is book, reception booked, photographer, bridesmaids chosen, and best man and ushers! So i'm and B2B with nothing to do!

Well apart from my university degree that im in the middle of but who worries about that little thing!!

With the intro of wedding I am going to add the wedding video..What do u need in weeding and how will you manage it?We all know that when you put the word “Wedding†in front of anything the price suddenly increases by a couple of hundred pounds. And I know lots of you now want to keep the cost of your special day down as far as possible, without compromising on the things you want. If you can find people who you know who can help with this it would really cut down the cost, wedding photography shoots can cost well into the hundreds. My friend was quoted £500-odd for her wedding day from the local studio, and that was budget!. A lot of photographers will offer a range of different packages though, so defiantly shop around to find one that has what you want. Then when you know what you want from your package you can shop around and see if you can find a better quote. Here is my recommendation:This guyzz I used and they are really good.You need to check out these guys- film-by-you.co.uk. My sister used them for her weddings. I just signed up to Hitched! What a great site.

I got engaged in Sept 11 in Parisand we have our wedding booked for 5th Oct 2012 and having the reception a week later. Me and H2B are doing it a bit of an odd way round but we like it and its what works best for us!

Everything is more or less booked and we are ready to get hitched...

Hi I'm new to this forum too we got engaged Oct 2011 4 years to the day of getting together officially we set a date last month and are getting married April 5th 2013 soooo excited have booked the venue, provisionally booked the registrars, going to meet the flower lady in April this year and think we've found a photographer, put a deposit on a dress but think ive made a mistake and rushed into it so may loose that! and have asked our bridesmaids and best woman and theyve tried a few dresses to get an idea of colours and styles......
