A huge congratulations on your engagement and now it’s time to start planning and here at Shoot It Yourself we want to help you make lasting memories of your special day in a way that you are totally comfortable with.

Take the control of your wedding video and use our service to have your guests help you film the wedding. Then our talented editors will turn it into the final product for you to cherish for years to come.

Once we’ve sorted out the details with you we will make sure that two days before your wedding we deliver your video cameras – to make sure everything is stress free for you they are tracked by our dedicated Logistics and Kit Prep department. No need to worry! We will than organise for a courier to pick up the cameras after the day is over and once they’re back with us we start on making the footage into a stunning finished product.

No need to be worried about heavy equipment, our Sony Video Cameras are incredibly lightweight and come with directional microphones, which means every single word of your ceremony and the emotional speeches. Then before we start editing the footage we will ask you to fill out a Post Wedding Questionnaire with music choices, any special requests and personal moments that you’d like us to include.

We don’t rush over our work and each individual video has a whole week dedicated to it where we match the best clips to the music and polish up any wobbly bits. Then it is on its way to you for you to enjoy and relive the day all over again.

Shoot It Yourself was designed by Andrea and Becs who spent ten years as TV directors. When they had children they took the brave decision to move on from the career that they loved and took the bold step to start a unique new business.

Between them they had so much experience and knowledge that they understood instinctively that people are more comfortable being filmed by people they know – taking this to weddings was the obvious step! Going out on a limb the pair booked themselves a stand at the National Wedding Show and Shoot It Yourself was born.

In 2011 Shoot It Yourself went national when Andrea and Becs appeared on Dragons Den and successfully walked away with investment. This enabled them to grow and now produce over 300 amazing wedding videos a year in a unique and fun way.
