Hi I'm Luke, a professional cinematic videographer. I love to film weddings and capture your day as you organised it- I'm there to tell your story, not create your story! Working closely with my couples I make every single film as personal to that couple as I can and to give you a film that you can share with family and friends proudly & be able to look back at for years to come.
Plenty of people still think of wedding videos being shaky, out of focus and badly constructed like they were in the early 1980's but i can assure you that's not how I film them today! Using a host of professional camera and audio equipment i will capture your day in high definition and with crisp audio, constructing your films in my editing suite and shwoing off all the best bits of your day!
I absolutely love what I do and each and every wedding is an honour to be involved with. Its your special day and i want your film to make you look like movie stars and tell the story of your love for each other & the journey you've been on. I have a variety of packages to suit all needs & offer a free quotation service if you have something different in mind.
Hopefully I've said enough to impress you and I look forward to hearing from you! If you're still unsure why not pop over to my website to view more of my work, read up on my blogs and see my packages in more detail.

How far in advance should I contact you?
The earlier the better! My calendar books up quickly with lots of wonderful weddings so if you would like me to be aa part of your day get in touch with me as soon as possible!
Do you cover more than one wedding per day?
I will only cover one wedding per day, so if you book me I will not have anywhere else to be other than your fantastic wedding!
Are you able to travel?
Absolutely! If you're a long way away we might have to add on some travel costs but I look at every wedding on a case by case basis. I want to create the best wedding films and that means travelling to lots of beautiful venues!
Is there a charge for travelling?
There may be travel costs involved if you are further afield but this can be discussed when we talk through your big day.
What kind of technology do you use?
I use a host of professional camera, stabilisation and audio equipment to film your day and I edit all of the films in my dedicated editing suite.
Do you charge per hour or per event?
My packages are based per event and have a core number of hours- I only charge extra hours if you would want something specific filmed that fell outside of these hours.
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Absolutely! There is a small hourly charge that would come with this however it is always an option. I will never try and sell you hours that you don't need- when we discuss your plans I will tell you if I think its worth the extra money, or more to the point tell you if its not worth the money!
What are the forms of payment?
All payments to me are via BACS transfer. I charge a £100 deposit to secure your wedding date and the rest of the balance is due 4 weeks before your big day.
How do you work?
I have a relaxed and laid back style- weddings can be stressful without me adding to the mix! I shoot on my own and I love getting to know the photographer i'm going to be working with and formulating a plan with them to really deliver the best results for you!
What is your turnaround time?
This can vary depending on the time of year but as a minimum I always try and get a short 'teaser' film out to my couples within 48 hours of their wedding so that they can see some of the best shots and it also gives them something to share with their friends and family straight away. For the highlights film that is released on social media I aim to have this constructed, viewed by you, approved and finally shared onto social media within 4-6 weeks of your wedding day.For your longer highlights film I aim to have this delivered to you within 8-12 weeks of your wedding day. This is subject to the time of year and how busy I've been however but I will always do my upmost to get the films to you as soon as possible.
Do you require us to feed you?
As part of my contract I do ask that my couples make feeding arrangements for me. this isn't normally a problem as most venues are used to feeding us suppliers!
Can I choose the music to my films?
Absolutely! I love my clients to be involved in the process- you can be as involved or not involved as you want to be! I have had couples who are happy for me to put my style onto their footage and have loved the results, equally I have had couples who i've chatted too, talked through song options and built a film to a song they liked and they were equally as happy! We do have to be careful of copyright law and so I cannot construct any films to 'mainstream' songs. Not to worry though, I have a few subscriptions to some wonderful music licensing companies who collect music from artists that is specifically designed for these types of films. If you want to be more involved I will talk through with you what you like, what you don't like, the advantages and disadvantages to certain types of music and then I will hunt down the songs and let you have a listen to them before we decide which one you'd like to go for!
Can I have the RAW footage from the day?
You can buy the RAW footage from me should you so wish to at a cost and you will need to sign my terms and conditions which states this fact as well.I always like to remind my couples that they are hiring me to film their wedding and make the best possible film for them- which means I have used all of the best clips to make that film. It's a little bit like walking into a cake shop & asking to buy all the individual ingredients to a cake- you don't need it, just buy the finished masterpiece!
What are your typical filming hours?
Normally I would aim to be with you and start filming between 10:30-11 am for bridal preparations and I will film all the way up to your first dance (normally 7:30pm-8pm).
What do you wear on the day?
I will be dressed smart-casual to your wedding- it's your wedding and you definitely don't want an eye sore but I also need to be comfortable to work a long wedding day! Typically I will wear a shirt and trousers, although sometimes I mix it up with a waistcoat!
Do you have insurance?
I do! I have a specific photography insurance package which includes public liability and indemnity insurance. You can see this if you would like and I always carry a copy on me should your venue wish to see it.
How do you work with our photographer?
This is a common question I get asked! The simple answer is I will always do my best to work with the photographer rather than try and work against them. By the nature of what we do we will naturally end up in the same spots because that will be the best shot! I always introduce myself and throughout the day I will explain what I would like to do, where id like to be and I will also ask them where they would like to be. Ive worked with some fantastic photographers and i've helped them get some great shots and equally they've helped me get some amazing footage. As long as you have discussed with your photographer prior to the wedding and let them know you'd like the wedding filmed there won't be a problem. If you are still worried however I am more than happy to get in contact with your photographer before your big day and introduce myself and start building a rapport.
I'd like my wedding filmed but I'm nervous about being on camera...
This is more common than you think and its completely understandable! Its a strange and surreal thing to have professional cameras pointing at you all day but there is absolutely no reason to be nervous at all.We can discuss prior to your wedding what you are nervous about and I can give you some hints, tips and tricks or even adapt my style to make the experience as good as I can. I want you both to be as comfortable as you can be- the more comfortable you are the more natural you look, and that makes for a great film!I offer pre-wedding shoots so that we can spend an afternoon getting to know each other, you'll see how I work and it gives you a chance to see my equipment and you'll soon see its nothing to be worried about at all!I can be as involved as you want me to be and I will always keep your worries and reservations in my mind when I film your day and do my upmost to give you the very best experience.
