I’m not sure where to start other than i didn’t want working with James to end! From the intro call to the planning meeting, arriving on the day and delivering our special video, working with James has been nothing short of an absolute JOY!

James has the unique ability to be your fun and caring friend on your wedding day whilst still maintaining the highest level of professionalism professional, and not only that, he brings bags of enthusiasm and insane levels of talent. When James had finished shooting our day, we didn’t want him to leave!!

When we received our wedding video, we got to relive our day through the eyes of our guests and the love that was shared - we shed many tears! As my mum sobbed watching the video back she said “he’s captured the joy” - and he really did. An unforgettable experience from start to finish - in all the right ways! We were lucky enough to have James shoot our wedding and his charm, character and talent for capturing all the little moments made for the most incredible videos. He caught every expression, every look, every moment, and we ended up with films that we’ll cherish forever. My husband and I said that while watching them back, we could feel how we felt in the moment. What more could we ask for! I have finally emotionally recovered from watching our wedding film and can hopefully put into words just how much we appreciate everything James David Films has done to make our wedding the most memorable experience of our lives!


Firstly, James was on it from the very beginning. A true professional and master of his craft. I had already viewed a few of the previous wedding films he’d shot and edited and it was unlike anything I’d ever seen before. They weren’t just clips strung together, they were a cinematic experience. I knew I had to have him as part of our special day. Yasmin (who deals with the admin side of things) was also wonderful, her communication and organisation was extremely smooth and efficient.

We were super lucky to have Hannah as our videographer. A genuine, warm person with so much passion and talent behind the lens. She captured every nuanced moment that would have otherwise been forgotten due to the craziness of the day. She was assisted by Mick who was so kind and relaxed, putting us at ease throughout.

They vibed so well with our photographers, working together to ensure we’d have memories of love and joy to last a lifetime.
The final product is unbelievable! I’ve watched our film (and it really is a film) every day since receiving it and every time I notice something different. A moment of laughter, a guest reaction, a look of love. It really is something else.

All I can say is WOW! I cannot recommend James and his team enough! In the lead up to the wedding, James and Yasmin were both so attentive, answering any questions, sending us regular emails and video calls to run through details on the day - in which they both helped us to feel so calm and really get into the moment and enjoyment of what was to come in the following weeks. On the wedding day, both James and Mick fit in so well with the rest of the suppliers we had on the day, everyone became a well oiled machine and it meant that everyone could do what they needed to. James and Mick were also friendly and fit in seamlessly with guests also - was like they were part of the guest list! Nothing was too much of an ask, including helping us to capture the announcement of our wedding day surprise, our baby! We felt so at ease with them recording and to be honest, at some points completely forgot they were there as they blended in so well! Since the day, James has been teasing us with video sneak peaks and they give me goosebumps every time! I cannot wait to see the whole thing!! My husband and I have felt so emotional as cake has been eaten, flowers have wilted and our memories of the day are starting to fade and seeing these teaser clips has helped to take us straight back to the day and notice so many details that we'd hadn't noticed before! I cannot wait for the whole film. Would thoroughly recommend James and his team for your big day!

We've now received our final films and they are a beautiful way to relive the day. so many emotions and small things captured that we didnt notice on the day - having them to watch over and over again is beautiful.

I will have these memories with me for a lifetime and just hearing your loved ones voices especially when they are not hear anymore still feels like they are in the room with you and that is priceless!!!!!! 5 stars just isn't enough I would give him 10 stars if I could.
