Jo began her career in the news room of STV and quickly became an on-screen reporter. After making the decision to become a programme maker, Jo moved to London to work for GMTV, moving on to producing a wide range of programmes and documentaries for BBC1, BBC2, BBC4, ITV and Channel 4.
Jo won a BAFTA as part of the award winning team behind the documentary film Black Watch: A soldier’s Story. Her most recent programme Care Home Kid: with Neil Morrissey was also nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for best factual series.
Jo’s programmes have involved her travelling across America with Russell Brand, filming in South Africa with acclaimed photographer Rankin and filming A-Z list celebrities for the award winning “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”.
After becoming a mum to Oscar Jo gave up her job at the BBC to start Bowery Productions.
As a postgraduate NUJ accredited journalist with a B.Sc Degree in Multimedia, Jo is ideally qualified to capture your stories whether that might be your wedding, a family celebration or an aspect of your successful business you want to share with your potential clients.
