A historic wedding venue in the heart of East London, Wilton's Music Hall is an ideal location for elegant events. Dating back to the mid-19th century, this unique Grade II listed building is one of London's few remaining music halls. Guests will be transfixed by the grand auditorium, ornate Victorian staircase, and vintage fixtures as you exchange vows under the glow of spotlights. Available for exclusive hire, this public arts and heritage theatre is ready to be transformed into a stage fit for your showstopping wedding event.

Facilities and Capacity
Situated just a stone's throw from London's bustling centre, Wilton's Music Hall is an excellent option for city ceremonies and destination weddings. Voted the best historic wedding venue at the UK Wedding Awards, this ornate building allows couples to host a day-long soiree in absolute privacy. You can set the stage for the day's festivities in the main auditorium, which retains much of its original character. Built in 1858, this glorious hall can host between 50 to 250 guests for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. The stage itself is the venue's designated ceremony space, allowing couples to start the next act of their love story beneath low lighting and classic stylings. Lovers of the 1920's style will adore the Cocktail Bar, born of the hall's famous Great Gatsby production. With its bare brick walls and antique fireplace, the room can fit up to 60 guests for an intimate cocktail hour or demure reception. The hall is filled with intriguing smaller rooms, which can be transformed into get-ready suites or bespoke entertainment spaces. The theatre also offers plenty of backdrops and locations for capturing those timeless snaps, with phantom staircases, sky-lit rooms, and gorgeous balconies.

Summer Wedding at Wiltons - the best day EVER
We both came across Wilton's seperately and we fell in love with the uniqueness of the venue. After a show around with Zena, who talked us through exactly what would happen on out wedding day, we knew we'd found the perfect venue for us. The team were in contact with us in the lead up to the wedding making sure everything was planned to a T!
Not only was Wilton's a fabulous venue, aestheically, but we had help from the AV team to make sure we had the perfect lighting throughout the day - another bonus to the venue as well. We had the perfect day here from start to finish and this was because the team in the lead up and on the day!

The best day!
We are so grateful to have been able to book our wedding at Wiltons. From start to finish - it was perfect.
From pictures alone, you can see the beauty of the place, but in person the feeling is overwhelming. The staff at Wiltons were incredible: kind, understanding and helpful.
We will never regret choosing Wiltons as the foundation of our special day.

We did it our way
"Best wedding we've ever been to" - this was uttered, shouted, spluttered and slurred over and over again, both on the day and every time we've seen our guests since. This is largely down to Wilton's. A venue like this speaks for itself, dresses itself and can't help but be remembered as the star of the show, the guest of honour no one will ever forget. We wanted to do our wedding our way and Wilton's helped us to achieve this every step of the way - communication was great, planning and execution ran like clockwork, and all the wonderful staff were so supportive, engaged and invested. We didn't feel like just another wedding, just another couple - we felt like we owned magical building for the day and had our own personal team by our side for the duration. We're an arty bunch and so are they, so it was a meeting of minds from the off. So if you want to say your vows in the bosom of history, whilst having the freedom to break free from tradition, this is the place. This was our place. We just wish we could do it all over again.

Fantastic from planning to the day itself
Wiltons are a very experienced venue and it showed. They helped us through the planning phase and their suggested vendors were great. On the day it was really like clockwork - every angle was covered and it meant a stress free day for us. The logistics of shepherding both us and the guests through the different phases was flawless.

Magical venue and wonderful team
Zena, Jack and the team at Wilton’s are just phenomenal. Really helpful and professional, the walk through a few weeks before the event just filled us with confidence and all communications up to that part had been wonderful too. Huge fans here, we had a magical day and the collaboration with Cater London also worked fabulously. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Unique and Perfect wedding venue
Wilton Music Hall was the absolute best idea we had to have our wedding. It captured exactly what we wanted: a rustic, historical, tasteful and unique place for us to get married.
I could write a whole essay as to why the venue is such a beautiful setting following all 130 guests feedback. Everyone couldn't believe how atmospheric it was. If you want your wedding to be memorable and break the norms of a typical British wedding venue then this is it.
Being in central London it meant that people from all over the world could easily access. The staff are just divine: so helpful, so considerate and made the day smooth sailing.
Given that it is a functioning music hall/ theatr, the ceremony was absolutely stunning and having live performers and a band made it even more captivating.

The most magical venue in central London!
We are so grateful that we stumbled across Wiltons Music Hall on our venture for the dream wedding venue. We were really stuck in the beginning of our search but once we found Wiltons Music Hall, everything clicked - we knew straight away! It's got a perfect central London location, SO much character, very reasonable, accessible and a lovely team to work with! There were so many different areas/zones we utilised throughout the day as well as the main hall to keep our guests on their toes! It's the perfect venue that keeps giving! So many of our guests mentioned it was the most unique and beautiful wedding venue they had ever visited.
The Wiltons team were so lovely, organised and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Leading up to the big day, we had an onsite meeting with our caterers and the Wiltons team which was very helpful to have a final walkthrough of the day. We are so so grateful to Zena and the entire Wiltons team, thank you we had the most incredible wedding day and we wouldn't have changed a thing - we cannot recommend enough!

An unforgettable venue, absolutely perfect.
Wilton's Music Hall was an absolute dream venue. The staff were responsive, helpful and extremely accommodating. They provided excellent advice and suggestions throughout and the day went so smoothly. The venue was decorated beautifully and the bonus of having a dedicated tech-person on the day to do the lighting was that extra special touch.
The venue itself is so beautiful and has so much character. Our guests were blown away.
I cannot recommend Wilton's enough.

The perfect venue!
Where do I even begin?!?!?!? I don't quite have the words to describe how utterly perfect the team at Wilton's are.
I work as a wedding celebrant so have been to hundreds of venues and met hundreds of teams and I genuinely don't think anyone compares to them. I mean, they're a theatre, they're used to staging huge productions so they're just so ready and equipped to make any and all wedding dreams come true.
I arrived at around 11:30 on the morning of the wedding and they had the venue basically completely ready (and I had made A LOT of bespoke elements). I walked in and I honestly could not believe how incredible it looked. I thought I had a pretty good idea in my head (and was already pretty happy with the vision) but when I arrived, it was so much better than I ever could have imagined.
We had a pre-wedding meeting to chat through all the plans and Zena is just the most calming presence and you just know she's going to Get. Stuff. Done.
Hannah from the tech team was just INCREDIBLE!! She spent hours up a ladder hanging banners and bunting. We gave her about 20 music and lighting cues and she was an absolute pro! We also described the dream lighting scenario for the ceremony entrance to her and she created a light show for us, videoed it and sent it to us ahead of the wedding to check she'd got it right!
I think it was Ollie who was also there on the bar on the day too who was just the absolute sweetest person and got the vibe immediately!
Also, Mary, who wasn’t even there on the day but had been at the box office when we’d dropped bits off and picked them up, was just so incredibly invested in our enjoyment of the day and this approach made the entire experience with Wilton’s so positive.
We had some viewings at other venues when we first got engaged and we'd find out down the line that the quote didn't include VAT or you had to pay an extra £1000 for a lighting package and, when we asked Wilton's about this they looked at us like we were mad because who wouldn't include LIGHTS in the hire fee?
They really are so special and unique within the wedding industry and I don’t even know if they realise it because it comes so naturally to them.

Best day of our lives
We had our wedding at Wilton’s last weekend and both agree it was the best day of our lives. The team (including Clive with the gatherers) went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The whole thing worked like clockwork and I didn’t worry at all. Complete professionals. They liased with our band, our florist, put on an amazing lighting arrangement and accommodated our little dogs. What a beautiful venue. It will always have a very very special place in our hearts. Thank you Wilton’s ❤️

So glad we chose Wilton’s
We got married at Wilton’s in July 2023 and are so glad we chose it as our venue. It’s absolutely stunning and the staff are fantastic. Can’t recommend it enough.

Unforgettable
Th wonderful staff at Wilton’s went out of their way to make sure we had the time of our lives. Everything ran smoothly, we didn’t have to think about a thing, everything was taken care of on the day without us being aware. It was magical and the venue is so beautiful and unique, everyone was bowled over. Can’t recommend it enough.

Incredible space for a wedding
We can't recommend Wilton's enough for a wedding - it's a unique, wonderful space, the staff are fantastic, and being able to do the whole day there makes a huge difference.
