We were married at the Foundling Museum in August and it we could not have been more delighted with every aspect of the day. The setting is simply beautiful - and with flowers the romance of the Picture Gallery and the Court room comes fully alive. We had only our ceremony at the Museum followed by canapés and champagne, moving on to another venue for the evening. What did we like? The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout the process in all sorts of ways - suggesting an amazing florist (Nicky Doodson) and photographer (Dan Weil) making planning the day so much easier. The fact that both knew the venue and the staff made co-ordination between them very simple. Also, having a piano in the Picture Gallery was a great advantage in having music during the ceremony. We would unreservedly recommend the venue to anyone and were particularly pleased that our wedding could contribute to the charitable work of Foundling Museum.

It was everything we'd hoped for, and more, and we are totally indebted to the Foundling team for helping to make everyone feel so welcome and for making the evening go so smoothly. Our son was married at the Foundling Museum last August. The ceremony took place in the beautiful, brilliantly lit Picture room, with live music in a serene and gently solemn atmosphere. We then repaire to the Court Room for a drinks reception and a few speeches, and went back to the transformed Picture Room for the dinner. The Museum staff were discreet but wonderfully efficient, and very pleasant. The catering was superb. A very memorable occasion!

We attended a wedding here in August and it goes down as one of my all time favourites. The venue was stunning - classically beautiful but not so formal that we couldn't have fun! It was so moving to see the legal ceremony and then sit down to the most stunning wedding suppers in beautiful surroundings. To top it all off it's in Central London. What more could you want....

We held our 15th wedding anniversary at the Foundling in June alongside some 55 guests. It was an unforgettable experience and what stood out for us was: the exclusive use of such a beyond stunning venue, the support and expertise of the team in the planning stages and then on the night, as well as the incredible Court room (drinks) and Picture Gallery (dinner). I may pre book for our 20th!

When we started to look for the perfect venue for our wedding, we had a clear picture in our minds of what we wanted: somewhere intimate and classically romantic, whilst at the same time interesting and unique. The Foundling Museum offered us all of these qualities and the flexibility to plan a ceremony and reception which suited our needs exactly. From the moment we stepped inside the ‘Court Room’ on our first tour around the venue, we knew that we wanted to become husband and wife in that room. From that moment it was just a case of confirming the date and organizing the details – a process made not only stress-free but also enjoyable and pleasurable due mainly to the fantastic support of the museum’s efficient and ever-helpful events coordinator. Questions were dealt with quickly and thoroughly, every request was fulfilled beyond our expectations and on the day itself the team went above and beyond to make our wedding a memorable, hitch-free occasion. As our memories of the day start to become a bit hazy, we can look at our photos and remember how stunning our wedding looked against the back-drop of the museum. Our friends and family still mention how beautiful and special the venue was and it has even been admired from afar, by those who couldn’t come on the day and have since seen it in photographs. The first and best decision we made about our wedding was to choose the Foundling Museum as our venue – everything else seemed to just fall into place afterwards
