Situated in 26-acres of serene and gorgeous Dorset countryside, Sculpture by the Lakes could be the most serene of locations for you to host your wedding day. Created by renowned curator Simon Gudgeon, and his wife Monique, this unique location has all the elements to provide you with the most unforgettable of days.
When booking with Sculpture by the Lakes you will have use of the gorgeous Retreat for your reception. The Retreat is a completely private space within the sculpture park, boasting its own lake and a double storey timber building with a roof terrace that offers breath-taking views of the Dorset countryside. What’s more, The Retreat can host anywhere between 60 to 100 guests depending on whether you wish to host a sit down meal or drinks reception, meaning that you can spend the day surrounded by every last one of your loved ones.
By April 2019 Sculpture by the Lakes will have a choice of three stunning locations for you to host your ceremony. The Pavilion, The Island, and The River Keeper’s Hut are all delightfully intimate spaces for you to exchange vows to that special someone. However, if you choose to host your ceremony off-site, there is a wonderful range of local registry offices and churches just a stone’s throw away.
With gorgeous wildlife and awe inspiring sculptures surrounding you, you will have no shortage of settings for wedding photos you will be able to look back on for years to come, so for more information about how Sculpture by the Lakes could host your dream wedding, please do not hesitate to contact them.
