If you are looking for an idyllic setting for a relaxed wedding in the countryside, look no further than Rushmere Farm. Located in the picturesque South Downs, the working family farm is home to a fantastic barn, plenty of outdoor space and camping facilities too.
The farm is available for exclusive hire for as little as £3000, giving you the freedom and flexibility to create your dream day, whether you’re planning a rustic barn wedding or your own festival celebration. You can source your own caterers, bring in a marque, yurt or tipi and generally make the space your own.
Their amazing barn offers the perfect blank canvas space, for you to put your own stamp on, with the wooden clad walls and smooth concrete floor, offering something different to the more rustic barns. The barn is fitted with all the necessary facilities including dimmable lighting, power and accessible toilets.
Continue the celebrations into the evening and the following day by inviting your guests to camp onsite. There is also their woodland yurt available for four guests.

Wed Fest at Rushmere
We had our wedding festival and hand fasting ceremony at Rushmere Farm in August 2019.Sent on 10/06/2020
From the offset it was always so easy to contact them to ask questions etc and communication was easy and helpful.
The barn itself is amazing, plenty big enough for a huge party even if the UK weather isnt great.
We were lucky enough to be able to use all the outdoor space and we had bouncy castles, outdoor games, hay bale seating, fire bin, bubble machines and so much more.
It was great to have free reign to pretty much do whatever we wanted to.
The farm is in a beautiful location and you're literally in the middle of no where and it's so beautiful.
Many of our guests camped over which was lovely. We had use of the beautiful yurts and bell tents which were incredibly comfortable and warm.
The mobile toilet facilities that were provided were extremely luxurious and clean.
George and his family were so helpful from start to finish and I couldn't recommend this place enough for any occasion. George even let my little boy, who has special needs, sit in his tractor which even now was still the highlight of the weekend for him!
I hope one day we will have the opportunity to be able to use the farm again.

Our daughters wedding at Rushmere Farm
We had a really wonderful day last Saturday at Zoe and Christians' wedding, and the success of it was in no small part due to all your hard work and helpfulness. You were much appreciated. Admittedly we did have a few anxious moments a few weeks before, but you pulled out all the stops! Thank you. We do wish you great success with your plans for the future. I'm sure you will do well. Again, many, many, thanks. Our very best wishes.Sent on 10/06/2020

Great venue for a countryside wedding
Great, secluded farmland venue. Large field area with plenty of space for a large marquee and all our event trimmings including camping and car parking space. The barn is fantastic with good sized indoor space and plenty of power supply. The venue also has water and WC facilities.Sent on 11/06/2020
