Stayed here for my brothers wedding on the 2nd August. It was fab the venue itself is amazing so beautiful! The food served at the wedding was lovely and the portions were large especially for a wedding if its size. The rooms were incredible we stayed in room 3 which has a door linked to a suite which my parents were staying in, it was the best hotel in terms of room standards that I have stayed in in a very long time! Would also recommend breakfast as that was again amazing
THE ULTIMATE WEDDING VENUE
By Sue L, on 27 Feb 2016
When my daughter, and now son-in-law, chose the beautiful Rowton Hall for their wedding reception I knew it would be perfect the moment I saw it. But it was even better than that.
We had exclusive use for our wedding party so the welcoming and relaxing bar, lovely conservatory, ballroom and beautifully country-garden styled outdoor area with wooden seating were ours without sharing, which I'd recommend, where (thanks to a warm Autumn day) we enjoyed Pimms and canapes with friends and family while the bride, groom and guests' formal photos and videos were taken.
Next came the Reception and the room looked stunning. The food was delicious, piping hot, generous servings and generously served.
They transformed the ballroom for the evening and it created an atmosphere which really got the party started.
As for service: nothing was too much trouble, no detail was left unattended, every request met. We wanted to do the speeches before dessert - no problem. And what a star MC Keith is. As is Aaron James and all the staff, each one professional and friendly.
I stayed in the Henrietta - a suite just above reception. It was beautifully designed and furnished with large sumptuous cushions, enormous elegant gilted mirror, mirror drawers, lovely large bathroom and adjoining lounge - first class. With 3 TVs.
Rowton Hall is a shining example for other hotels. None of the chain hotels I've stayed at come close. Our guests loved it.
Some guests rounded off the wedding weekend with a morning swim before a hearty English breakfast. After checking out, we were welcomed to stay and enjoy the hotel, no need to rush off. So we headed for the terrace to open cards and gifts while served coffee overlooking the beautiful gardens.
Happily, we will be back. We've booked treatments in the spa.

I was working at the hotel tonight as a DJ for a wedding, well what can I say apart from AMAZING STAFF, the guy that was looking after the ball room tonight is a credit to your establishment, nothing was too much trouble and he was on the ball with everything going on in the venue, your staffs ability and professionalism is the best I have seen in a long time, as an ex R.A.F caterer I cant give a bad word about the room or the staff, to the point I will be booking a Sunday lunch with my wife at some point, thank you for all your help tonight, it was a pleasure to have been able to be there :)

We got married in September and literally had the most incredible day ever, we couldn't of asked for a better day. Rowton Hall is truly beautiful venue and perfect for intimate weddings. On the eve of the wedding and the day of the wedding we were blessed with two amazing master of ceremony's, Keith and Dominic, the pair of them bent over backwards to help, they did everything in their power to sort everything exactly how we wanted it, they made us feel like our wedding was the only wedding they'd ever had, this is exactly how a bride and groom should be made to feel on the day and I am so grateful to them both for all they did for us! Keith was even battling sickness and he still did his utmost!! We are truly grateful to ALL the staff who made the day possible, in particular Keith and Dominic!! Thank you Rowton!!
What a fantastic day!

What a fantastic day! Rowton Hall hosted our wedding in December 2015 for 85 day and 140 evening guests. The venue was perfect – the right mix of space and character – the Christmas decorations made it feel magical. Charlotte was always so friendly and helpful and a great practical planner, having co-ordinated many weddings and herself been married there. The staff were always polite and made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. Thirty seven very good quality rooms were ideal for our guests – some (including us) stayed for three nights. The meal for thirty people, the night before our wedding, worked very well as a way to introduce those from a distance. The hotel facilities were excellent – the rooms very well appointed, comfortable and clean. The food for both wedding and breakfast and evening meals was excellent – tasty and beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone and we plan to return for a meal or weekend in the future.
Our Daughters Wedding

Words cannot describe how fantastic Rowton Hall is.
Wedding planning is busy due to the detail required so that the day goes off without a hitch . The team at Rowton were cool , calm and collected and highly professional at all times, nothing too much trouble. Their wealth of experience was clear, the lovely balance of accomodating all requests, but at the same time, offering sensible solutions, was invaluable. It is easy to get carried away.
Christmas had arrived, and the hotel looks beautiful, Rebecca ( the owner) has a absolute eye for detail, and the reception room on the das looked magical
In addition, the conservatory, which was used for the drinks and canape reception, felt welcoming, and when guests had arrived gave off a lovely buzz. It was used after for the photo booth, sweetie table, etc , and it just works perfectly. It has soft seating too for those who need a breather
The ante room, was used for the evening buffet, which was ( reported by guests) the best they had ever eaten
Photos , now back, are wonderful, the hotel has so many places that beautiful shots can be taken
Charlotte and Tom were at hand all the time to steer the boat - using a lovely soft hand on the tiller
We received so many wonderful emails and letters from our guests , maby saying, best wedding ever. Our memories are, laughter, fun, and very sore feet from dancing all night
So....thank you, Rebecca, Gordon, Charlotte, Lawrence, Tom, and the rest of the staff, for making our day so so special. We will never forget this special day
Excellent stay for a wedding
By Jessica, on 27 Feb 2016
Our family friend got married here on Sunday 14th February, and so we stayed two nights at the venue (the night before and the night after the wedding).
We were automatically upgraded to a executive room for no additional extras for our first night and then to a junior suite for the second night. When we mentioned that we wouldn't mind staying in the one room for both nights, due to getting ready for the wedding. They kindly offered us a complimentary breakfast for the departure day and offered to organise our room first so we will be moved quickly with no delay for getting ready. This was a lovely touch!
Firstly, as a wedding venue - , the grounds were beautiful. Theres 8 acres of land that are all kept excellently. The hotel itself from the outside is lovely, but inside is even better. It's very traditional and keeps with the manor feel, but has lovely modern touches. The wedding was held in the large room with the conservatory used for in between the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. The conservatory is very light and open with lovely modern wicker chairs etc...
The food for the wedding breakfast was lovely also, and the rooms were very open, light and airy.
I'm unsure of average room prices (as this was booked through the wedding party who get 'deals' on rooms when booking the venue), and also this was Valentines weekend. But I don't expect you will be disappointed, whatever the price.
The whole venue (rooms included) was spotless! Could not find fault at all with anything. There was a big party of us staying here (as it was for a wedding, as mentioned) and none of us could have a negative word against the venue/staff/cleanliness/food/spa. Everything was excellent!!
