Ceremony Capacity

You can choose between the oak-panelled library and secret chapel, The Wilson Room, or Drummond Suite for an indoor ceremony.

Drinks Reception

After your ceremony, you are welcome to host a drinks reception in either The Drawing Room or Library. These two rooms both feature tranquil views of the river, open fires, and historic charm. You can also take advantage of our beautiful grounds and host drinks and canapes on our front lawn.

Wedding Breakfast

For your wedding breakfast, the Drummond Suite and the Wilson Room are both available. Our Drummond Suite can host 120 guests with an additional 30 in the Wilson Room.

Prior to the wedding breakfast, experienced bartenders can host a stylish drinks reception featuring champagne toasts and handcrafted cocktails. Thoughtful finishing touches are also included, such as house floral arrangements, place cards, menus, and table plans, adding to the ease and elegance of your day.

Accommodation

The hotel offers a collection of luxury bedrooms, including three Suites, five Superior Rooms, five Deluxe Rooms, and two Small Rooms, accommodating up to thirty guests on a double-occupancy basis. Several rooms also feature sofa beds, allowing capacity to be increased if required.

Intimate Weddings

Thackray House offer an Intimate Wedding Package for 2 to 26 guests. This includes witnesses if required.
