  Amazing venue

  Where to start.. first of off if you haven’t been here for a carvery then it’s a must!
  
  Secondly if your considering your wedding here then I couldn’t recommend enough
  
  Everything from the booking, planning, to the day itself was so easy and relaxed.
  
  No stress whatsoever and the team are amazing, I dealt with Chris and Adam while planning & then Ange in the few days prior to the wedding and on the actual day. She’s a star and everything went like clockwork, the venue itself is beautiful we got married on the grounds with Shropshire registrars, had the 3 course breakfast then hog roast for the evening.
  Food quality is fantastic and the portions are huge, none of guests left hungry!
  We stayed over too and the breakfast the next day was great.. again so filling and great quality.
  
  All of our guests commented on the venue being amazing and that they had such a great day / enjoyed the food.
  
  Wish we could do it all again, thank you to the team for making our day perfect 🤍

  Our wedding at Ye Olde Punchbowl Country Inn

  Thank you to all the staff at the Punchbowl for making our wedding day so special.
  
  The food was amazing and very tasty with plenty to go around.
  
  The grounds were perfect for a lovely wedding setting with great views.
  
  The rooms made us feel really comfortable and very pampered with an amazing bath in the bridal suite.
  
  We would highly recommend having your wedding here. 5??????????

  Wedding ceremony and reception

  We had our wedding ceremony and reception held here on the August bank holiday. We could not fault the amazing team at the punchbowl one bit. From the restaurant staff, to the events team, to the chefs - the day was perfect and we can not thank you all enough. We stayed in the rooms the night before and the night after, they were impeccable. The food has been complimented by every guest and was absolutely amazing. The gardens, the outdoor bar, the gazebo... Everything was perfect and the team that helped on the day made everything so easy for us.
  
  Thank you so much for our beautiful day. No doubt you'll see us and most of our guests again for food!

  My wedding day

  Had our wedding reception here on the 27th July. Chris made the whole process really easy from booking two years ago to the big day itself. The room was set up perfectly for us and everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had many guests saying how they've never had food as good as that at a wedding. Having eaten here several times before we were impressed that the starters and desserts were the same size portions as they would be normally, so many venues make them much smaller for weddings. We'd like to thank Chris and the team again for making our day so special.

  Daughters wedding

  We just want to thank all of the staff at the Punchbowl for making the marriage of our daughter, Steph Thomas to Dean Haden on Saturday 27th July, a truly amazing day, despite the rain after weeks of sunshine!
  The food was wonderful, as always, and the staff were very helpful with preparations in the run up to the special day. The gardens made a wondefrul backdrop to some very special photos. You very kindly plated up two meals for us to take to my parents, who were sadly, unable to attand, and we'll do our best to return them to you in the coming weeks.

  Wedding Reception

  Had my wedding here and it was the most beautiful day. The staff, especially the wedding planners are so attentive and are just lovely people, they will do everything they can to make your day amazing. The food was to die for, all of our guests have commented on how good the food was at our wedding. Also a beautiful location with a beautiful garden!
