Absolutely amazing day

The day was amazing. Sid, Katie, Kayley and all the team worked so hard to ensure our day was perfect, and it was. Everything ran very smoothly from the ceremony to the celebration afterwards. The whole team worked hard and fast to turn the room around for us. The food for the wedding breakfast and the evening hog roast was amazing, there was no complaints from our guests. The hotel was very accommodating with our various dietary requirements. The service from the wedding team was efficient and friendly. The DJ, Colin, was fantastic very accommodating playing song that were requested and allowing some of our guests to sing. The rooms we stayed in after the night had been danced away were clean and spacious. All in all the whole of the hotel team were helpful and friendly. If you haven't booked or even looked at a venue then The Village hotel could be the best venue you never see.

All we could have wished for

Everyone was absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, specially Kelsie she went above and beyond nothing was too big to ask her, even down to the tinest detail she was on top form. The food was fantastic from chef Brenton, the recommended suppliers also couldn’t do enough for us. Weddings can be quite stressful but on the day I couldn’t have been more at ease, I am a control freak and didn’t have a single worry. All our family and friends said how fantastic the day was and great location with the nature reserve for photographs too. Beautiful bedrooms for all of our family to stay in and an extra larger room for me and all my bridesmaids. We had the perfect day thank you Village.

Great wedding anniversary party!

We had our 30th Wedding Anniversary party at the Village Hotel nottingham. Pretty much all of our friends that attended said that it was the best party they had ever been to. Included in this were the hotel staff as well as the party planning team. There is nothing else that I could have wished for!

40th Wedding Anniversary party

Words are difficult to be able to say what a wonderful experience our day was. From the original booking made last year with Hannah and then briefly Sid but mainly Katie. She was able to sort out all our different food requests easily, I'm sure every time she got an email from me she must have groaned but at all time she was so helpful. The staff on the day bent over backwards to attend every request. It's a shame we cannot remember their names as they deserve to be personally thanked. The bedroom was lovely and all the food both at the party and at breakfast was delicious!

My sisters wedding

We had a fabulous day on the 5th August for my sister wedding, couldn’t thank Katie and Sid enough for all of their hard work. They were very thoughtful and really looked after my sisters needs and in planning her special day, very accommodating and did everything they could to help with last minute changes. Perfect venue for your wedding day!

This Hotel is amazing if you are thinking off having your special day nothing is to much trouble for them to get the right suppliers for you from there in house Dj to someone doing your table centre pieces

Fab team to work with! - Supplier at Village

We worked with the Village a couple of times now, and it’s always ran smoothly and efficiently. Staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll look forward to working with them again in the future.
