We got married at The Woodman Inn on 10.11.2023 and it was simply amazing! We booked our wedding nearly two years prior and the team were so supportive from the moment we booked it (especially Kieran) and still are now nearly a month after our wedding day! I never felt like I sent too many emails or any question was too much. We asked for special arrangements for some of our guests and nothing was too much and Kieran offered great advice.
Kieran, Jordan, Ben and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure our day was more than perfect! All our guests have said how much they loved the day, loved their stay in the gorgeous rooms and were so complementary of the staff, the food, the venue and how the day went and trust me there some harsh critics there. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating to all the guests. Our supplier also were so complimentary of you and the team and together you all made the day.
Since the wedding everybody has asked me, 'how did it go? did everything go to plan' and I can honestly say everything went to plan and I cannot fault a single thing. Our wedding day was simply amazing and that is down to the team at the Woodman - I will always recommend the Woodman Inn and it will always have a special place in my heart!
My advice to any bride and groom - visit The Woodman Inn, book a view and honestly, if you're looking for a gorgeous, picturesque venue with amazing staff and gorgeous food - The Woodman is the venue for you!The Woodman Inn's reply:

Best day of our lives!
Everything about our special day was PERFECT! The meetings before were informative and put our minds at ease every time. No request was too much and staff went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality.
The Garden room is a beautiful venue with the orangery a perfect bar area to socialise. The woodland and surrounding areas made great backgrounds for photographs, and having everything so close together made for a seamless day for us and our guests.
The food is to DIE for! Portion size plentiful and quality is exceptional. Our friends and family are still raving about the unbelievable food.
Our day would not have been possible without the friendliest and most welcoming staff at the woodman, who brought together all of our ideas with enthusiasm and excitement. Jordan and team did such an amazing job and we cant thank them enough! -

One of a kind
The Woodman was the first venue we viewed and it is absolutely stunning, we viewed a couple afterward but nothing compared to what we saw and experienced at the Woodman.
Throughout the whole wedding planning Kieran, Jordan and the team couldn’t help us enough from the stereo typical bridal panics to helping us organise so much of our day.
On our wedding day yet again Keiran and the team were there every step making sure everything was perfect and calming me and Scott down when the nerves kicked in!
All in all we could not recommend The Woodman enough to anyone planning a wedding no matter how big or small they want it to be they have everything you could think of.

Kieran and the team at The Woodman Inn ensured that our wedding day was, indeed, the perfection people talk about. People want the personal touch and the no-worries day, and the food to be amazing, and no one to be bored, and everyone to be happy. They do it all, and more.
Two years ago, we were shown around by Jordan and knew it was the one. A brightly lit pub opens up into a warren of superbly decorated rooms - a canvas for a relaxed, cosy wedding.
However, it cannot be expressed more strongly how, without the staff, the building would be soulless. It is them that make it harmonious. Despite our needs and requests, we didn't meet a disgruntled face, not a complaint, not a cutting line - they know that the team they have and the resources they have created are at the forefront of hospitality in 2023: a difficult accomplishment in the currently climate.
The food - the best our guests had ever had at a wedding. The service - the best our guests had ever had at a wedding (and believe us, they told us!). The lack of judgement and complete professionalism - noticeable and humbling. We came as clients and left as friends.
Kieran - the Weddings Manager - you were the antidote to our stress and nerves. Ben - you received a million compliments about your candour and work ethic. Jordan - you lead a team of wonderful people who must get up every morning and be proud to be part of a forward thinking, hospitable team with a true desire to pursue the best.

Where do I even start with how fantastic this place is? I visited the Woodman Inn at the back end of last year when searching for a wedding venue. We were looking for somewhere that looked the part, of course, but the main thing was that we wanted a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
I met Kieran at the first meeting (who is absolutely wonderful, might I add) and I just LOVED the place. We decided to go back a few days later for the wedding open day, and after seeing it all set up, we booked there and then. We went for dinner and an overnight stay a few months before our wedding for my partners birthday, and it was so lovely. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was divine.
The run up to the wedding.. I could not have asked for more, honestly. Kieran, Jordan and Ben were absolute saviours. So helpful, offered advice, checked in with us regularly, always available to speak to one of them. And then came the day..
IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! The chef worked with us to create a Mediterranean style dinner, it was amazing! And the sticky toffee pudding is, hands down, the best on the planet. We danced and drank the night away with our loved ones and it was everything we wished for. My new husband said the breakfast was also amazing, I unfortunately can't comment on this due to the massive hangover that prevented me from eating it 🤣, but it looked delicious.
I honestly believe the team at this place are the best in the business, every single one of them.
The Woodman Inn will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to return.

The first and only wedding venue we visited was the Woodman Inn. We knew as soon as we got there that it was THE ONE. The venue itself and the surroundings are beautiful and give off the relaxed vibe that we wanted for our special day.
We got married on 22/09/23 in the garden room and the day couldn’t have been better! Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we received so many lovely comments about the staff and the food.
From start to finish, the whole team were so lovely, especially Kieran, who was extremely helpful and accommodating! We chose to take a super relaxed approach to our wedding planning and Kieran made that possible.

Best venue ever
The Woodman Inn couldn't have been more perfect. We wanted somewhere secluded, surrounded with nature and with a touch of modern with nothing religious. The venue ticked every box and when we went to see it in person, we fell in love with it and knew it was the one; every other venue we saw online just didn't compare anymore. As soon as we enquired, we was welcomed by Kieran and felt very looked after. It made the experience run so smoothly knowing there was a support network at the venue and no question was a silly question.
The Woodman Inn is already a stunning venue, so we felt that doing minimal decorations would compliment it easily.
The whole Woodman (Kieran Glanney more specifically) team were so helpful and amazing letting us have the day before to set up, they even set us up with a bluetooth speaker so we could just relax and have a really good time together. It really did create a core memory of the wedding.
During the day everyone was on hand and made the day stress-free and extremely welcoming to every guest.
The food was outstanding. Every single guest and our long list of allergies were accounted for. We are both coeliac and the chefs made sure that everything was or could be made gluten free that we asked for!

Our whole experience at the Woodman was incredible from start to finish. We knew this was the place for us the first time we visited… the staff were both welcoming and friendly, and we were wowed by how beautiful and intimate the venue was. The whole planning process was seamless and wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Kieran, who was so accommodating and always on hand to answer any questions. The day itself was perfect, we were married within the venue’s beautiful gardens and celebrated the rest of our day in the country room. The food was a particular highlight, with guests mentioning how much they enjoyed their meals and that it was the best wedding meal they had - we went for the salmon and can say it was the best salmon we’ve had. All in all, we couldn’t recommend this place enough. The venue, the food, the value for money and most of all the team, who made our wedding day the most incredible day of our lives! -
