We had our wedding at The Mill House on a beautiful day, 6th September, and chose to have the ceremony outside. From the very beginning, the support throughout the planning process was incredible—so helpful, reassuring, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We truly felt special and completely looked after on the day itself.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The gardens and the marquee created the perfect setting for our wedding, and it all came together even better than we could have imagined. Our DJ was brilliant too, keeping the dancefloor full all night and adding to the amazing atmosphere.
The experience didn’t end there—breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The staff continued the special treatment, and the full English was cooked to perfection.
It was a day we will never, ever forget. Thank you, The Mill House, for giving us the most perfect wedding day. -

I came across this venue via instagram and there was something so breathtakingly beautiful about it; the intimate gardens, the beautiful flowers, the gorgeous bedrooms but most importantly... the people. I visited this venue a few times and met with Emma who was absolutely lovely. The attention to detail, the calming atmosphere she presented was exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I soon came to a decision that this was our venue of choice and leading up to the wedding they certainly didn't disappoint. The communication was second to none and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. I think what made this place even more special was the fact you could have exclusive use of the property and this was all included in the price - whereas, other venues we saw didn't have this option without additional cost!
My bridesmaids and I stayed at the venue the night before the wedding and Kim suggested that we had dinner there together with a few family members. This was perfect. The food was delightful and it gave us a taste of what we were to expect on our wedding day.
Chris was our master of ceremony and he was great, the day ran smoothly and there were no hiccups - even a slight drizzle of rain wasn't going to upset our day!
So, thank you to Kim, Emma and Chris for everything you done to make our day so special. We reflect on the day often and cannot wait to come back to celebrate future anniversaries with you.
An extra special thank you again to Emma, you sold us a dream and we certainly lived it on that day because of you. X -

We held our small but select wedding at the Mill House at the end of August and cannot praise them highly enough. From the first phone call the team were helpful, supportive and listened to what we wanted to achieve, which was a fun and relaxed wedding. All our guests thought the venue was lovely, we were luck with the weather and able to enjoy the gardens. Lots of, 'the food was fabulous', comments, which was particularly positive as we had a shedload of food intolerances (gluten free, dairy free, vegan) which they managed without any drama. We dont intend getting married again but if you are this venue is second to none! -

The best day ever
Since it’s now our first wedding anniversary, we’ve had lots of time to reflect on our wedding day. We can say without a shadow of a doubt that having our wedding at The Mill House was the best decision we made in all of our wedding planning. It of course had sentimental value to us (because Mark and Kim helped my parents get married there nearly 30 years ago), and was also a stunning location. What really made the day special, though, was how EASY it was. People talk about wedding planning stress, but we didn’t experience any of that. From planning phase through to execution, Mark, Kim and their team calmly took care of everything that we needed. Nothing was too much trouble, and no detail was left out. The food, service, rooms and staff were absolutely exceptional (the best we’ve ever experienced at any wedding), and the entire day ran without a single hitch OR single bit of effort from us as bride and groom. These guys are experts, and they executed everything with flawless professionalism. Despite the fact that these guys see weddings day in and day out, they somehow made ours feel like a one-of-a-kind. We are going back today for our anniversary, and can’t wait to spend many more anniversaries there in the future. -

The Mill House offer great wedding packages to suit a variety of budgets. We were able to have our dream wedding within our budget with their packages and this is something we were starting to believe would be impossible! The staff are so attentive and their communication was always perfect. They responded to every question we had in a timely manner and couldn’t have been more helpful. The venue is absolutely beautiful, with the most stunning gardens and whilst we weren’t able to have our outdoor wedding (thanks British summer) we still had a magical day. The food is delicious and our guests definitely weren’t going hungry with all the food that was included in our wedding package.
We really did have the wedding of our dreams and didn’t have to worry about a single thing all day due to our wonderful master of ceremonies, Chris. Chris ensured the day ran smoothly and everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. It was so nice to not have the stress of managing the day ourselves or forcing this onto the bridal party!
The resident DJ, who is included within the wedding package, is amazing! He had the dancefloor full all night long and also provided our photobooth which was an absolute hit with all the guests.
Overall we would highly recommend the Mill House if you’re looking for a wedding venue. -

I'm not sure we can put into words quite how amazing The Mill House was. As soon as we walked through the door at the Wedding Showcase we knew immediately this was where we wanted to get married. The hotel and marquee and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. From that day on everything was made so easy. The staff are a credit to the hotel, nothing was too much trouble, questions got answered quickly and the day went without a hitch. So many of our guests have said what a beautiful venue it was and a fabulous day. I cannot recommend The Mill House enough, I can promise you will not be disappointed. -

Wonderful wedding
From the beginning the venue was so friendly and accommodating. We felt we were in excellent hands and the impression is the staff really care about making your day special. If you are fortunate with the weather the gardens are lovely. We had many compliments from our guests regarding the venue, service and food. We had a fabulous wedding day and after the event we both said there was nothing we’d change. -

I don’t think no amount of words can express how the staff at The Millhouse hotel went above and beyond to make our wedding truly magical.
Everything went smoothly and to exactly how me and my husband wanted.
We had a December Christmas wedding, and when I tell you the venue looked unreal, it was UNREAL !
To the lighting and the extra Christmas trees, to my handmade Christmas table decor, the sashes gave it the most magical Christmas wedding any girl could dream of.
I would highly highly recommend to have your perfect day here at the Millhouse. You will not be disappointed.
The food was just magnificent. I’m coeliac also and they catered for every need. Was delicious.
Me and my new husband. Will be going back for a stay and dinner again on our 1st anniversary.
I just want to give everyone who works and runs the Millhouse a massive shoutout. They were amazing and literally made the planning of the wedding so easy, I didn’t have to stress or worry about anything. I wish I could do it all again. And I would choose this venue over and over again.
