We celebrated our wedding at The Mill House Hotel on 21st September 2024, and all we can say is WOW. From start to finish, the team at The Mill House exceeded every expectation, making the entire process seamless. I honestly wish we could relive the day all over again!
From the initial planning meetings to the menu tasting and the flawless coordination, their attention to detail was nothing short of extraordinary. We were fortunate enough to set up the marquee the day before, and The Mill House took care of coordinating with all the vendors. No request was ever too much—everyone was incredibly accommodating.
The food was absolutely spectacular, with guests still raving about it weeks after the event! The accommodation and breakfast were equally impressive, rounding off an unforgettable experience.
Thanks to The Mill House, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. If you're planning a wedding, look no further! The beautifully maintained grounds, the fully customizable marquee (as you can see from our photo!), and their outstanding vendor recommendations made everything perfect.

Incredible Venue
We had our wedding at The Mill House Hotel in November 2024, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From the very beginning, the communication was outstanding. We worked with just two people throughout the entire planning process, ensuring everything was smooth and seamless with no room for error.
On the day itself, Mark, our master of ceremonies, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran flawlessly. He kept us informed at every stage, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day without a single worry.
The entire experience was truly incredible, and we can’t thank the team enough for making our wedding day so perfect! -

Magical experience, best day of my life !
Excellent experience from start to finish . We had I think 3 show rounds into total to show family members round they were accommodating and very professional. It was a beautiful setting and perfect for our guests.
We booked a package deal which suited our budget and all costs were discussed. They also gave us step by step of instructions from dealing with the registrars to pointers right up until the wedding.
We had a pre tasting menu which we enjoyed but we chose to upgrade to have the. beef wellington and it did not disappoint everyone complimented the meal and not a single empty plate .
They are amazing with contact and I felt I could phone or email with any questions.
We got to leave our preparations there before and cars so there was no stress on the day .
On the day it was perfect, everything was set up on time , Kim was very accommodating and the rooms were ready on time .
All rooms were perfect, clean and spacious. Chris looked after us for the day and we clear instructions so we did not need to worry.
The timings were perfect, service was intimate and perfect, amazing grounds with perfect lighting , perfect for photos .
The meal was delicious, service was above and beyond and great service to all tables . The staff were amazing!
I definitely recommend this place , love it !!
Massive thank you to Emma , Kim and Chris and the everyone who looked after us over the part year . A dream come true! -

This venue and the owners Kim and Marc went out of their way to make sure our wedding was perfect. The whole team were incredible and our day could not have been better. They were so helpful and flexible and I would HIGHLY recommend them. There is not a single negative. -

My daughter and her husband Dave have just celebrated their wedding at The Mill House. It is a perfect venue. The hotel itself is lovely, beautiful accommodation, pretty garden and a lovely marquee. The food was tasty and very well presented. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful.
Mark is a real star and was our Master of Ceremonies, keeping everything and everyone organised.
I would recommend this venue, you really can't go wrong! -

The Mill House Hotel in Swallowfield was the most incredible venue for our wedding.
The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble and i couldnt recommend them enough.
They were so friendly and helpful and made the wedding planning experience stress free.
We opted for long tables and no seating plan as didnt have a sit down meal, they helped us with suppliers for tables which made it so much easier as we wouldnt have known where to start.
We had the donuts delivered the day before and they kept them in the kitchen for us and put them out in the evening as we didnt have a cake.
On the day of the wedding there was potential rain so the staff kept an eye on the weather and didnt set up the chairs outside until the last minute, luckily we had no rain.
All staff were amazing and i couldnt fault anything at all.
It was the most incredible day and i have the best memories.
The rooms were beautifully laid out and comfy and the breakfast the next day was just what we needed.
The inhouse DJ was great. He let us create a playlist so he knew the type of music we liked, he asked us who we didnt want to play and he made sure that even if it was requested it wasnt played.
I would recommend this venue to anyone, it was beautiful with the grounds being looked after all year round and the staff helping to make it a day to remember
