Perfect venue

Couldn't recommend enough. It was slightly more expensive than some of the other venues we looked at, but well worth the money for the service and quality we received.

All the staff were so helpful and were quick to respond to any queries we had throughout the planning and on the day.

We've had so many comments about all the food we had (canapes, 3 course meal and evening food), with lots of people saying it's the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Guests liked that they had two options to choose from for each course and dietary requirements and allergies were well catered for. Everyone left with a full stomach!

Most amazing venue

Everything was amazing for our special day. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were so attentive and the food was amazing. Handover the day before was seamless and the breakfast the morning after was delicious. Thank you to all the team!

Accommodating and friendly

The staff at the Carriage Hall were all so helpful in the process of planning our wedding reception. We wanted to do a more informal evening-style reception and they made every one of our requests happen. They looked after us very well and getting to stay in the shepherding huts meant we didn't worry about anything - would absolutely recommend.

PERFECT from begging to end!

We had the most incredible wedding day thanks to the carriage hall! From start to finish it was everything we ever dreamed of! We had so so many compliments on the venue and the food for weeks after!
Thanks so much to the whole team for delivering the most perfect stress free day and build up!

Amazing day, nothing too much trouble!

Absolutely blown away by The Carriage Hall, the place is beautiful & staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Our bespoke vegan wedding was incredible!

Excellent day that was helped along by wonderful staff

We had a fantastic experience with Carriage Hall! The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful as they set everything up for us in the morning. The whole day was perfectly organised and ran beautifully.

So glad we chose them for our wedding!

We have recently passed 6 months since our wedding with you (where has the time gone?!) and have been reflecting on how much we enjoyed our day. We were so impressed with all of the team, from the beginning of planning to the day itself.

When we first visited for our viewing we could tell that they are a friendly, welcoming team. The venue is beautiful and well maintained, and we knew it was the right place for us. We could tell they genuinely cared about us as potential customers, and the events that they host. We valued them being upfront about costing and logistics in our planning meetings, and the experience of the staff members was evident throughout.

Secondly - the food!! A family member mentioned to us how nice Perkins is soon after we booked, and when we came away from our wedding food tasting we couldn’t have agreed more. We know good food is such an integral part of hosting an event, and we’re still getting comments to this day on how good the food was. There were plenty of very satisfied tummies afterwards!

The politeness and adaptability of the staff members is exceptional. We were running a bit late on the day and the staff quickly adjusted timings to account for this, ensuring no one noticed, and that no plate of food was cold. It helped keep this element of the day stress free as we could just enjoy the day and trust that they were in control. On the day my mum asked one of the waitresses about how they’d made a certain element of the food - I remember thinking that she probably wasn’t going to get a response as they were all so busy, but she came straight back having asked the chef for her. This is just one example of how polite and helpful all the staff were throughout the day and the evening, and it didn’t feel like anything was too much trouble.

I’ve had a couple of comments from the vendors we hired to say how easy The Carriage Hall team are to work with, and how clear expectations on timings etc were. We could really trust that they were coordinating everything well and that we didn’t need to worry.

The accommodation and breakfast the next morning were a lovely finishing touch. Having a couple of on-site options was a bonus, and we were so pleased to be able to arrange a larger breakfast at Perkins the morning after. It was a really special way to finish the weekend - one that all our guests thoroughly enjoyed!

Amazing venue and staff

We cannot thank the Carriage Hall enough for making our wedding day so special. We had so much fun planning it and the tapas food was delicious on the day!

The best day!

The carriage hall is the perfect venue for any wedding, beautiful gardens and beautiful lighting inside. The team at Carriage Hall are also amazing, nothing is to much for them. Mel, Georgia, heather, cat and all the rest of the team were amazing and I couldn’t recommend the venue enough. We had the most amazing day. Xx

Amazing venue!

Everything about The Carriage Hall was amazing! From the moment we looked around the venue it just had such a lovely feel to it and we couldn't have been more pleased to have chosen to get married here!! The hall itself is beautiful, the staff are incredible, the food is SO good, and the running of the day was spot on! We had so many compliments from guests on how smooth the day ran and that was all down the The Carriage Hall. We would 100% recommend, such good value for money and was the best decision we made!
