  March 2024 wedding- at the perfect place!

  We had our wedding here in March with the help of the wonderful Lydia. She made everything possible for our special day. From day one when we booked to 2 years later on the day we got married Lydia helped us so much! Amazing guest bedrooms, easy check in for the guests, one of the best breakfast for the day after and the food was out of this world at the wedding! Couldn’t have asked for a better venue, wedding planner and a better day! Nothing was too much for Lydia and the team.
  If you are looking for a wedding venue or hotel this is 110% worth visiting!

  We had our wedding here in March with the help of the wonderful Lydia. She made everything possible for our special day.   WOW! We had our wedding 5 weeks ago, and it was truly amazing. The attention to detail, the little requests I made were all done. Lydia was utterly brilliant and so were all her staff that worked on our wedding day. The only downside I never wanted the day to end! A beautiful venue, I felt I could relax, give Lydia my requests and not worry about them again. The food was beautiful. The bridal suite was beautiful. Thank you so much for our amazing day xx

  Wedding 19/01/24

  What an amazing experience we had , we held our wedding reception here and nothing was too much trouble.
  Everything was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for anything more, Lydia was exceptional on helping us with everything, even helping us out with all the wedding decor/accessories she has.
  I can’t thank her enough with the short amount of time we had to plan our wedding. She was super helpful and took the stress from us.
  
  We stayed over and the rooms are phenomenal the beds are super comfy and the breakfast the next morning was the best. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are very polite.

  Amazing Day!!

  We booked our wedding at quite short to notice as we were let down by another venue. Lydia and her staff were amazing on the day and to the run up of the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and it all ran like clockwork. Food was amazing, bedrooms were beautiful. We couldn’t ask for more!

  We had a lovely intimate wedding earlier this month, only 25 of us but it was absolutely perfect! They are a dog friendly too, so we even got to have our dog to be part of our day which was the icing on the cake for us.

  Beautiful hotel and wedding venue

  We have recently had our wedding at the Black Horse Inn and we had the best day. The wedding coordinator Lydia was fantastic on the day and also leading up to the wedding, everything was organised perfectly and she was always on hand to answer any questions. Lydia and the whole team were brilliant on the day and made sure everything ran smoothly.
  The venue looked beautiful with lots of character and the food was amazing - all of our guests commented on how nice the food was.
  We cannot recommend this venue enough, thank you for helping to make our day so special and perfect!

  The BEST winter wedding!

  I don't really know where to start but we had our wedding late November for 45 guests. The staff and Lydia worked so hard to give us the best day that we will never forget. The venue is gorgeous and very quaint, perfect for a more intimate wedding! The value for money is excellent and so many guests commented on the food, service and the quality of the hotel rooms. Just wish we could do it all again!

  The best wedding venue with the best planner

  We had our wedding here in November 2023. It was perfect and ran like clockwork from start to finish. It's such a fabulous,intimate venue and it stole our hearts the first time we booked an appointment for a look round with Lydia.
  
  We then came back to look at the venue again at a wedding fair to see the room dressed for a wedding and fell in love with it again and got a good idea of how we wanted our tables etc.
  
  Lydia and her staff were fantastic,nothing was too much trouble and any queries/questions were answered really promptly. Lydia was also great at offering advice or her thoughts of what would look good/work on the day and never seemed to tire of me emailing every week. The food was fabulous and all our guests commented on how good it was and plentiful. There wasn't one criticism,moan or fault about Bert's rooms I could give and couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Don't waste time viewing other wedding venues just book here,you won't regret it!

  Brilliant Experience

  Our day was absolutely perfect. Lydia was brilliant and so helpful throughout. We booked the package that meant everything was included in one price, including hotel rooms, decorations, and the DJ. Everyone commented on how good the food was and hoe pretty the venue is. We would definitely recommend to anyone!

  Country pub wedding

  We chose to have our wedding at the Black Horse/ Bert’s Rooms for a few reasons -
  It’s in the village I grew up in
  My parents got engaged there and had their 25th wedding anniversary there too.
  Lastly, out of all of the venues we looked at, Lydia was the least pushy and left us to make the decision ourselves.
  
  Throughout the planning process Lydia helped us and pretty planned everything that we needed. She couldn’t have done any more.
