Perfect Autumn Wedding
The Barn couldn’t have been more perfect for our wedding - Philippe and Janet were amazing hosts and took all the stress out of organising a special day. All the staff were amazing on the day - nothing was too much trouble and they were so so hard working - probably the best customer service we’ve ever experienced in the food industry. The food was out of this world - beautiful choice of menus, huge portions of perfectly cooked food which our guests haven’t stopped raving about since. It was a perfect venue for our special day - we had the most amazing time 💕 Rob and Lou -

Firstly the basics. The Barn is a lovely spot, the food was excellent and the staff were superb. However, that doesn't nearly begin to do the place justice. From our very first visit it was clear that our wedding plans would be in safe hands.
All through the process Phillipe and Janet went out of their way to be helpful. No question was too daft, no request too outlandish for them to consider. The budget is very reasonable indeed for the amazing service, support and day that you get.
I don't know how many ceremonies they do each year at The Barn but there was no sense of this being "just another wedding" for them. Every member of staff - ably led on the day by Anthony - seemed to be aware that this was Louise and Gordon's day and each and every one of them did their utmost to make sure everything was not just perfect, but perfect FOR US.
It says a lot that whenever we mentioned the Barn to any of the suppliers connected with our wedding the reaction was always "great venue - they will look after you". They were not wrong!
As for our guests, they left raving about the place. Many will be returning for meals - as will we!
So to summarise, if you are planning a wedding we cannot recommend the Barn highly enough. Our day was perfect and it meant so much to us that Phillipe, Janet Anthony and co did so much for us to make that happen.

Amazing wedding venue, everything we wished for. . . And more!
From start to finish Janet and Phillipe couldn't do more for us! They were extremely accommodating. On hand for any questions and really put our minds at ease. Their communication was top tier. We always got a response within 1-2 days but a lot of the time it was even quicker than that! Our entire day went smoothly and the food was absolutely beautiful! We had many praises regarding the food and the overall service alongside the venue!
Thank you for making our day even better than we imagined!

I can not recommened this venue enough! From start to end they have been so helpful and accommodating. Phillippe & Janet made our day so special, we wouldnt have changed a thing. The staff were wonderful, they decorated the venue better than we could have imagined, the food was delicious, the DJ was amazing and all our guests commented on all of these things and more. The venue is perfect, a little oasis for a cosy, pretty wedding. Enjoyed every momement, all ran smoothly and everyone had the best time! -

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the amazing staff at the barn everyone was truly incredible on the day and everything was even more amazing and special than we ever expected ♥️
The food was truly incredible and delicious all came out hot with food portions HUGE !!
The sticky toffee pudding was insane !!!
All the guests said how amazing everything was and couldn’t believe the amount of choices they had too choose from ☺️
Phillipe did an amazing job of making all our ideas come to life and also Janet thank you soo much for helping with the many emails and phone calls due to such a last minute booking you both did amazing and can truly see that yourselves and your staff love what you do ♥️
If you’re looking for somewhere and unsure if this is the place to book I can assure you, you won’t regret it one bit !!! We also used there in house dj which again thank you very much Luke ☺️

Wow!! As soon as I visited The Barn I knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding and I was right! Our day was absolutely perfect and everything went so smoothly thanks to every one at The Barn! Everyone made you feel so comfortable and nothing was ever too much for them! They set up the venue exactly how I had visioned it and all the guests loved the food! We love going back now for a drink or food and they are always so welcoming still! -

We recently had our wedding at The Barn and from the moment we contacted Philippe we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. With only 4 months between booking and event it was great that communication and planning with Janet was easy, flexible, timely and supportive – from our plans with various music playlists needed on different sound systems to arranging our rehearsal the day before, all the little details were accommodated.
The location of The Barn is really accessible being in the centre of town, with plenty of places for guests to stay nearby, yet it feels very private as it is set away from the main road down a private street with no passing traffic. It is a gorgeous venue, really intimate but with plenty of space for our 70 guests, and the team had done an excellent job of setting up and laying out our table decorations beautifully; it was a wonderful space for us to connect with our guests.
All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful throughout the event; many of our guests commented on how lovely they were, along with how fantastic the venue was.
The food was delicious, guests choose from 4 meals on each course, and every one of them looked amazing, we’ve heard many compliments of every option. Service throughout the meal was excellent, a good level of attentive, efficient and unobtrusive, they served a large room at a good pace.
The whole running of the day was done smoothly, changing areas worked really well, we hardly noticed the hard work going on downstairs while we had our meal.
We can’t thank the team at The Barn enough for helping us have such a wonderful day and we highly recommend this wonderful venue! -
