    We knew it was meant to be...

    From an early age I dreamt of getting married on a beach in a hot country - However we decided we wouldn't want to miss having all of our family and friends share our day. I still wanted to get married outside and after much research we came across Stradsett Hall. We knew it was meant to be when we found out we could have our ceremony in the rose garden and the reception in the Old Stables. We went for a classical vintage English country theme to suit the venue and used lots of roses.

    Dream English Country Wedding

    When i first visited Stradsett Hall, i was struck by how warm and welcoming the reception was. Alfred and Charlotte were charming, witty, modest and incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process. They guided us through the options and suppliers for the big day with ease, and couldn't have been more spot on with their recommendations. Julie Abbs, our caterers for the day were splendid, with an excellent team and the food was nothing short of perfection. Many of the guests said it was the perfect English country wedding venue, complete with stunning rose garden, orangery, and it's own romantic chapel. Completely Jane Austen! We highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

    I fell in love with the house and its surroundings

    As soon as I visited Stradsett Hall I fell in love with the house and its surroundings and knew this was where I would like to marry.  With a vintage wedding theme mind it was perfect, especially with the rose garden as an option for our ceremony.

    As a venue for a wedding Stradsett Hall is pefect

    We were married in the Orangery and held our reception in the Old Stables in the evening.  Wonderful setting - the garden and Hall were perfect for photographs and Alfred Bagge was on hand and very attentive at all times.  The staff were helpful and accommodating to individual needs and did so much to ensure all went well!  A perfect day in a perfect location.  The memoires will live with us forever - Thank you.

    Fell in love with it straightaway

    We chose Stradsett Hall because it provided a perfect venue for us to customise our day exactly how we wanted to.  We knew that we wanted an intimate setting for our small wedding party and loved the idea of a quintessentially English country house.  We also liked the idea of having different areas for different parts of the day.  It was the first and only place that we visited and we fell in love with it straightaway.

    The perfect venue for size and location

    We booked Stradsett Hall the week we got engaged - it was the perfect venue for size and location.  Alfred was very welcoming and flexible - we were able to decorate as we wished.
