Dream wedding
Absolute fairy-tale wedding with Sofitel. The service was phenomenal. The venue was dreamlike. The food was delicious. They are absolutely faultless. For a 5 star hotel and wedding venue, the packages are fantastic value for money. Thank you so much for your part in our special day. Amazing perfect best value!
I cant make justice as to how its such a gem to work with Sofitel and SEPHORA ! Exquisite and elegant, all friendly and customer first! I cant be any happier, they are very responsive, customised experience despite being 5 star. They made my dream wedding come true- even if I only had 15 guests! If was nothing short of perfect. I chose the best. They also accommodated by dog to attend and stay. This is one of the best hotels, amazing hospitality.. They have the best staff, great location, delicious food.. Best Day Ever
My two friends and I stepped out of the taxi and into the warm spring sunshine. Architecturally stunning Sofitel St James stood proudly before us.
With all the arrangements taken care of by the unobtrusive and expert staff, we three simply relaxed with drinks and some bar snacks as we gradually welcomed more of the wedding party.
Every detail had been completed with the utmost care so as the doors opened my focus was entirely on my fiancé. The flower arrangements were stunning and as Tansy Aked and her fabulous Too Darn Hot band began playing When I Fall In Love my heart almost burst and happy tears formed in the corners of my eyes.
With the ceremony complete The most delicate and delicious canapés were served with champagne as guests mingled happily until with a flourish the main doors were opened to reveal our reception suite. It was perfect in every way; the tables set exactly how I’d imagined with the most beautiful candelabra flower arrangements on each one. The band launched into the first of three sets of West End Theatre tunes, the singers took to the stage and the celebrations began.
As expected the beef fillet was sublime, the abundant desserts a triumph and the table of cheeses and port exceeded every expectation. We smiled at each other as our nearest and dearest nodded appreciatively as they feasted on each course and the wine flowed.
The magical evening I hoped would never end . My husband and I retired to our suite and as we sat amongst the thoughtfully scattered rose petals on the bed we sipped one final glass of champagne and reminisced about our magical five star London wedding day.My two friends and I stepped out of the taxi and into the warm spring sunshine. wedding anniversary celebration
We had the most wonderful time last weekend. From the day of our arrival on the Thursday, through Friday, and each day through the weekend, everything was absolutely perfect. I wanted them to have a wonderful time, and everything was so perfect for all of them.
I wanted them all to see why we love the Sofitel St James so much, and they have heard me talk so much about it through the last ten years that we have stayed there, so it was wonderful to have them there and hold our function there, and let them all experience a place that holds so many treasured memories for me.
The Saturday evening was magical and unforgettable. It was perfect, and the food and service was outstanding. I enjoyed every mouthful. Not only did it look amazing, but it was so good. I knew we would have a wonderful evening, but none of us imagined it would be as perfect as it was. For all the guests, Chris and I, and my parents it was truly a special and memorable 50th wedding anniversary celebration, and time to have a wonderful reunion with great friends and family and celebrate. It was TRULY MEMORABLE.
You were responsible for creating such a wonderful evening and we truly appreciate it. perfect. My parents felt so spoilt from the moment they arrived from the airport, to be greeted so nicely.
It is all these special touches that are always there each time we stay, not only when we are having a wonderful celebration, that make Sofitel St James one of my favourite places of all the destinations
