Didnt want to Leave
I love this place I never wanted to leave we got married here on 28/05/18 and we couldn’t of wished for a better day from the minute I arrived on the Sunday to the moment we left on Monday we were well looked after the staff are brilliant so friendly... Brilliant Day
We had a brilliant wedding on 20th April 2018. It was an absolutely stunning venue and a perfect sunny day. We couldn't have asked for anymore.
Sally was with us from day 1 and helped us out lots including booking a room for me and my bridesmaids the night before.
My step mum was gluten free and my cousin was vegan and both were provided special meals and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was absolutely delicious so many guests complimented us on our food.
The bar man that was present all day and evening was brilliant (I dont know his name but he made our day really special), he couldn't do enough for us the night before the wedding and all day on the wedding day. He made us laugh lots and even when I was waiting to walk down the aisle he came to wish me luck and made me laugh to calm my nerves. He even made sure there were seperate utensils for my gluten free guest to avoid cross contamination which my step mum really appreciated.
The DJ was fabulous too, we gave him a list of requests beforehand and he made sure our evening do ran smoothly and kept us in the loop of what was happening when which was great. He even arranged for food to be kept for us to eat at the end of the night incase we didn't get chance.
Finally a big thanks to our toast master, he was brilliant! We felt so well looked after all day, nothing was too much trouble for him and he made our day run so smoothly. We can't thank him enough.

Perfect Big Day
Well what can I say. We got married here yesterday and from start to finish the team could not have done more to make our big day perfect. Massive thanks to Sally, Paul and Brian especially. The venue was dressed beautifully and the food was stunning. It went so quickly but I enjoyed every single second.
It is a day that I will never forget, and I can not wait for the photos! Kings Croft you deserve to win the next I do! Award for sure. Keep up the hard work and I'm sure we shall return.

Whole Day Fantastic
I find it difficult to understand the negative reviws on this site. Kings croft hosted our wedding on the 13.02.18 which was also my 50th birthday. When our wedding was booked I was just starting my chemo treatment they were caring understanding and very supportive. On the day of our wedding they could do enough for us our our guests. The whole day was fantastic, the food was amazing the staff were wonderful. I can not thank them enough for making our day so special. Exceeded our Expectations!
On Saturday 13 January 2018 our son Chris was married to Bethany at Kings Croft. We checked in on the Friday night with Chris & his Best Man & were met by pleasant & helpful staff. Following an excellent evening meal & some time in the bar we retired to our spotlessly clean & comfortable room in the bungalows looking forward to THE DAY! We were NOT disappointed. Thankfully the weather was kind to us & following the ceremony in the Pavilion we were welcomed by hot canapes & drinks served by friendly & smiling staff before the reception in the Queens Room. This had been transformed by Paul, Sally & staff & looked truly magical and a splendid meal was enjoyed by all. The evening disco overseen by Paul was very well received and was topped off by an utterly sensational hog roast that included a variety of hot dishes & accompanying salads...all prepared in house by Kings Croft - WELL DONE THE CHEFS! All in all Kings Croft exceeded our best expectations and helped make Chris & Bethany\'s wedding a truly memorable day. Many, many thanks to Sean, Paul, Sally & all the team for all the hard work in helping to make it such a memorable day. Kindest Regards to you all... Perfect
We got married here in September and the staff were absolutely AMAZING. I felt so at ease the whole day and Brian and his team were flawless. Also a massive thank you to Abbie who helped book and plan our wedding and was able to help me arrange every detail to exactly how I wanted. Beautiful Dau
We got married at the kings croft on the 27th October 2017 and from day 1 of planning back in 2015 the staff have been fantastic! The planning process was easy and we worked the wedding package to suit our needs. Nothing was too much for the staff and they did everything we asked. The food for the wedding breakfast was beautiful and even though we did not eat anything off the hog roast and hot buffet we had great reviews from family and friends who did eat it. The whole day was just perfect, A Beautiful place on Beautiful grounds. We couldn't have asked for anything better. I had my wedding here yesterday. The Day was perfect. From start to finish the staff were so attentive to my needs and they never stopped. Everyone worked so hard. Perfect Day
I just wanted to say an absolute massive thank you to all your staff. We had our wedding with yourselves last Sunday (Vicky & Mark – Sunday 13th August) and we couldn’t have picked a better venue.
The day was perfect and all the staff worked really hard to ensure that nothing went wrong – nothing was too much trouble for any of you.
Brian our toastmaster was fantastic keeping us informed of everything that was happening and when and of getting everyone in the right place for photos/cake cutting etc.
The food was amazing and all our guests have commented on how lovely it was – and how gorgeous the venue and the rooms were and we will definitely be back for another stay.
