Where do I even begin? From the very first visit to Hawkstone Hall & Gardens, we knew it was something special — but the team truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely brilliant. They reassured me every step of the way, answered every question (no matter how small), and made the entire planning process feel calm, organised, and enjoyable.
On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly. The venue looked breathtaking — every room, every detail, every view of the gardens felt magical. The staff worked seamlessly in the background, making sure everything flowed perfectly without us even having to think about it. We could just relax and soak it all in.
The food was incredible – so flavourful, beautifully presented, and with really generous portions. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was! From the canapés to the main meal and evening food, everything was faultless.
We honestly can’t thank the team at Hawkstone Hall enough for their kindness, professionalism, and care. Every single person we dealt with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. It was everything we dreamed of and more.
Thank you for giving us the most magical day of our lives — a day we will treasure forever. 💕 -

Sheena Sent on 29/11/2025The most amazing day at Hawkstone Hall ❤️
Hawkstone Hall created our dream day!! The whole team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Special mentions to Angela, Emma, Lillie and Ollie.
We booked most of the venue the night before the wedding, which was absolutely worth it and something I would highly recommend. It made the whole experience so relaxed and allowed us to settle in, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and feel completely prepared for the big day.
Our wedding was more complex than most as we had two ceremonies in one day and fireworks, meaning timing was crucial — and the team managed this flawlessly. Everything went off without a hitch.
A huge shoutout to Ollie, who was literally on the floor cleaning my wedding dress when it got muddy so it looked perfect for the rest of the day. I never expected that level of care; it was outstanding! He and a colleague even stitched my SIL into her dress after it ripped — truly wedding fairy godmothers. Ollie was also removing stickers from our shoes before the aisle (something nobody even thought of). I also loved that the bridal suite was tidied before photos. My MUA said she’d never seen that at a venue before and is usually the one tidying to make pictures look good!
The front-of-house staff were also incredible. My grandma was very ill on the day, and the lady who ran the Saloon and bar (I sadly can’t recall her name) did absolutely everything to make sure she was comfortable. She passed two weeks later, and the care shown to her will stay with my family forever.
A few minor things went wrong — some accounting confusion, missing funds, and some luggage misplacement — but Angela and the team resolved everything quickly. Some of this was due to us having two weddings and multiple outfit changes. One small note: we loved the snug and were disappointed to learn last-minute that it can’t be used for after-party drinks due to fire regulations. It may be helpful to mention this during viewings.
Aside from these tiny points, our guests were blown away by the venue. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and impeccably maintained.
In the evening I got very hungry (too busy dancing!) and didn’t get to eat the evening food. Ollie made me a cheese board at 12:30am even though the chefs had gone home — they made sure that right up until the last moment we received the best service possible.
We have stayed at the venue many times leading up to our wedding and cannot wait to return. ❤️
If any bride is considering Hawkstone Hall — absolutely book it. You will not regret it.

This review is very hard to summarise. We had a fantastic day and it was so special. Everything from the build up to the wedding and right up until the big day - it was faultless. The amazing wedding team handled EVERYTHING! & also supportive on any external things I needed a hand with ( I did not need a wedding coordinator).
The staff - all fantastic, very professional, warm, friendly and attentive! Special mention to Lucy and Rosie who coordinated the day and made everything run so smoothly and stress free. Also William on front of house - he is a joyful soul.
The Venue - speaks for itself! Our guests loved it!
The Food - unbelievable! Our guests still mention how amazing the canapés and wedding breakfast was when we catch up. Portion sizes and quantities were brilliant.
Value for Money - absolutely! We had mid-week wedding which reduced some costs, we were able to add/ takeaway from their mid-week offer and tailor the day to make it our own.
I could go on and on.. but I would highly advise to go and view this magical venue - ask all the questions and be assured to be put at ease. -

We got married at Hawkstone Hall on 25th May 2025. From the moment we found the venue we knew that nowhere else would compare and that it would be the most magical wedding venue - and it was.
The staff were amazing from start to finish, from responding quickly to any questions at any time of day on the run up to ensuring they had captured all our details at the final meeting and then of course ensuring everything went to plan on the day. They are incredible at what they do and make you feel like you are the only wedding and couple that are getting married there. They will try and ensure they can meet any requests and if they have it at the venue, it is yours to use on the day. The whole day ran seamlessly thanks to their hard work. An extra special thank you to Angela, Lucy, Holly and Jill (and her walkie talkie!).
I stayed in the bridal suite the night before the wedding with my two maids of honour and this was the perfect start to the celebrations. We were given a glass of fizz on arrival and had opted for room service to enjoy a relaxing evening which was delicious. The room is beautiful and equipped with everything you need for the morning of getting ready - every girls dream!
All of our guests were blown away with the staff and the beautiful venue. They were also shocked at how good the food was for a wedding, especially the beef wellington - this was important to us as big foodies! They commented how well the day flowed, thanks to Hawkstone having a different room for each part of the wedding which was a must for us. The Chapel is the most incredible setting to say your vows in, it is beautiful and modern yet still feels traditional.
We cannot recommend this venue enough, it allowed us to have our dream wedding day and create the most special memories. Hawkstone will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we can't wait to return for events, nights away and at any other opportunity we can!Hawkstone Hall's reply:

Hawkstone Hall and all of the staff were an absolute dream from start to finish. It was beyond perfection. From our first visit we were made to feel so special and comfortable. The building itself is magical, every space deserves its own moment, gold ceilings and mosaic floors, to beautiful gardens and water features. But the staff are what makes Hawkstone the perfect venue, nothing is too much for them.
The run up to the wedding we were able to visit any time and have constant communication with the events team, we were invited for a menu tasting and the final details meeting ran through everything you could think of and more.
My family and I stayed the night before the wedding and it was a magical experience, and the staff couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable and have a great time.
I stayed in the bridal suite and it was everything you imagine, I felt like a true princess in that giant room!
The morning of, we had breakfast and Prosecco brought up to us that was an amazing start to the day. Staff checked in occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed. Then go time, the events team lead me to the chapel and ensured my dress was fluffed and I was ready to walk down the aisle. After we were taken for a private moment and given a much needed glass of fizz. They co-ordinated the whole day wonderfully, the title events team doesn’t do them justice they are full on wedding planners! Making sure everything ran smoothly and all guests were cared for, even taking the buggy for a special run around the gardens for my grandma which meant the world to us. Food was phenomenal and there was extra care given to the guests with dietary requirements. I will never forget the feeling that Hawkstone and the team gave us for our special day. It is the ultimate dream wedding venue.Hawkstone Hall's reply:

Hawkstone Hall & Gardens is simply beautiful. As soon as we walked in during our first visit, we knew that this was the place for us.
We cannot fault the staff. They were incredible on the day and very attentive to our needs. Every detail was met and were more than happy to speak with you and answer any questions from the point of booking. The food was exceptional, as was the service. Hawkstone Hall is the wedding venue of dreams. From the very beginning right through the planning process to the big day itself, the entire team was simply outstanding.
In the lead-up to the wedding, they were so organised and supportive, always ready to guide us when we needed it, and answering every question with patience and clarity. Their professionalism and calm approach made the planning experience feel smooth and stress-free.
On the day, the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Everything ran so seamlessly, and we were able to be fully present, knowing we were in the most capable hands. Their attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care for us, our families, and our guests meant the world.
A huge thank you to Angela, Lucy, Emma, Barnaby and the rest of the incredible team, your efforts didn’t go unnoticed. So many of our guests commented on how lovely, helpful, and kind you all were. It wasn’t just us who felt it, everyone could see how much heart you put into what you do.
And we can’t forget to mention how much our puppy Casper loved you all too! He was so well looked after and spoiled with love it made everything feel even more special knowing he was in such good hands.
Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, and Hawkstone Hall will forever hold a place in our hearts. We cannot wait to be back again it already feels like a second home.

From the moment we rounded the corner and saw the breathtaking Hawkstone venue, we knew we had found somewhere truly special. It wasn’t just the beauty of the setting that captivated us—it was the warmth and care of the team that made it feel like home. On our first visit, we were welcomed so warmly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having toured other venues, we had sometimes felt like just another booking, but Hawkstone was completely different. They took the time to walk us through every part of the space, helping us picture our family and friends there, sharing in our special day. From the very beginning, they made us feel at ease.
After booking, the exceptional service continued. The team was always easy to reach, responding promptly to emails and calls. Every time we spoke to them, we felt like our wedding was the only one they were planning—they were just as excited as we were.
Throughout the planning process, we visited Hawkstone multiple times—for wedding open days, Father’s Day, our menu tasting, and pre-wedding visits. Each time, we were met with the same warmth and incredible hospitality. The team always remembered our names, making us feel like part of the Hawkstone family. The food was nothing short of outstanding, and meeting Chef Jerome in person was a real highlight. Every detail, no matter how big or small, was handled with care. The team worked seamlessly with our suppliers, including our wedding planner, ensuring everything was exactly as we envisioned.
One of the most special things about Hawkstone was the way they allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Since there were no other weddings that weekend, we were able to arrive on Thursday and spend the evening together, just the two of us, taking it all in. On Friday, we indulged in relaxing massages in our room before hosting a dinner in the ballroom for 40 of our closest family members who were staying on-site. It was such a perfect way to extend the celebrations and spend meaningful time with our loved ones.
The wedding day itself flew by, and thanks to the incredible Hawkstone team, it was seamless. Everything ran so smoothly that we never had to worry about a thing. Our guests were in awe of the venue and couldn’t stop complimenting the level of care and attention they received from the staff. It truly felt like every single person at Hawkstone was invested in making our day as special as possible.
One of the things we love most is that our connection with Hawkstone doesn’t end with the wedding day. Knowing we can return whenever there aren’t weddings taking place allows us to relive those beautiful memories while enjoying the same incredible hospitality. It’s a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Hawkstone isn’t just a venue—it’s an experience, a home away from home, and the best decision we made for our wedding. We will always be grateful to the team for making our dream day a reality. If you’re looking for a venue that truly cares about you and your wedding, Hawkstone is the one.
We would like to thank all of the staff, many of whose names we don’t know but Tim and Scarlet were exceptional. Lucy and Holly were the best planners. Jerome and the kitchen staff made delicious food. We had the beef wellington and the quality of each dish considering the quantity made was exceptional. We had so many compliments from guests about the quality of the food. Hawkstone is fully deserving of all its awards. It’s a beautiful venue but the real shine comes from its staff who are so professional and service-focused you will have a 5 star treatment.
