Utterly Amazing Service

Well what can I say....We booked our wedding back in October 2022. And had our day on 10th August 2024. Connie our wedding co ordinator was totally amazing after just starting a month before and taking on the role to organise our day she totally pulled it out the bag. So thank you so much connie.
If you have certain expectations for your day be prepared to be wowed because the day exceeded ours by far. The team were perfection seeing to our every need, welcoming our guests and making sure they were enjoying the day. You've really made our day one to remember and cherish for the rest of our lives.
Thank you just doesn't cut it ❤️

Best Day Of Our Lives

The full journey from start to finish was made so easy by Connie & her team, nothing was too big or small or difficult to do, we were made to feel comfortable and respected throughout the full process. We both stayed at the hotel the night before and felt so welcomed by all the staff, the bridal suite was beautiful and all of the wedding party was amazed. The wedding day was the most beautiful day ever, it went so smooth and without a problem, Connie & the wedding coordinators made sure we were relaxed and calm from morning to night and made our day so special for us. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough.

The only place you can trust that your wedding will be spectacular!

I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff here. They have made my wedding the most stress free and incredible experience ever. Right from the start they were so incredibly friendly and accommodating. My first point of contact was the beautiful Maria she shared my excitement for the wedding and was so knowledgeable about the services they provided. She also gave me a birthday card with chocolates and booze. She was then blessed with falling pregnant so her maternity was then taken over by the equally beautiful Connie. She took over and it felt like there was no break in communication. Maria shared all my wants and needs to Connie and boy did she deliver. She answered emails well after she finished work and so on the ball but laid back at the same time, so I never felt pressured to make decisions straight away. She also gifted us booze and chocolates when we checked into our hotel room. Now on to the day I was looked after by the gorgeous no nonsense lady Louise. She knows her job inside and out. She made sure my day would go so smoothly working so hard to provide the wedding of my dreams. Coupled with the design team they surprised me with some gorgeous decor details that honestly put me in tears. The staff serving our delicious food were so friendly and attentive. I can honestly say this place is run by angels. From the blonde lady on the reception desk to the waitresses and managers they have all been fantastic. Nothing was too much hassle I really felt like we were VIPs even though we hadn't spent a lot they made sure it matched a top tier wedding. I definitely believe you wouldn't have got the same amazing service from a Hilton.

Fantastic service from start to finish,

She replied to my emails so quick and made me feel at ease!
She was also fantastic with our little girl who we had to take to each appointment.

What can we say?! From start to finish Maria and her team have been our rock in making everything perfect for our big day. You made me feel so relaxed as I had full trust in you I just new everything would be done perfectly.
The amount of friends and family members that have mentioned to me and Carl how fantastic Lou & Dee were is a credit to them. From taking care of a very un happy baby during the ceremony to making sure I never had an empty glass. I did not feel stressed once during the full weekend we can’t thank yous all enough the day ran like clockwork thanks to the amazing team you have at The Grand.

Created the most magical day

Words cannot describe how amazing the staff are, they made our day magical. Felt like I had best friends looking after us, there wasn’t enough they could do for us. Our wedding day was better than perfect. Thank you so so much to Maria and the rest of the team

Just Amazing!

From the initial meeting with Maria, the interim planning appointments and the support I received on the day I would highly recommend using this venue, I felt in control the whole time and all of my requests were listened to and accommodated. So happy we chose this venue we have such amazing memories of a perfect day.

Wedding of our Dreams

We booked the Grand Gosforth Hotel Park for our wedding.
After looking at a few different venues we choose gosforth park hotel as it was good value for money. The price stayed the same no matter what day you had it on, and pretty much everything was included in the package.
Maria the wedding coordinator was amazing, she helped with all the planning.
Unfortunately she wasn’t there on the actual day itself, which was a bit sad after getting to know her for so many months. But Lou and Dee who were there on the wedding day itself were fantastic and I couldn’t fault them.
All the decorations were fantastic, and exactly what we wanted. We opted for the package to include full room draping, tablet decoration, all stationary. Everything was beautiful presented. Only thing I would say it’s the carpet is bright red which could affect some weddings.
All staff were amazing on the day and were very friendly.
Bridal suit was massive with plenty of room for hair and makeup.
Food was lovely, we had afternoon tea where we got everything we wanted. We then had a hot finger food buffet on the night. The bride and groom didn’t eat much on the day but what they did eat was delicious, and many guests commented on how nice the food was.
There was a wide range of alcohol and soft drinks and the bride got quite a few free drinks.
The bride stayed the night before the wedding and the groom got a complimentary room to get changed in on arrive on the day. Then both bride and groom stayed the night of the wedding itself, breakfast had a wide variety of food and was just what we needed the morning after.
We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne and some chocolates in the room.

Breakfast was brought to the room the morning of the wedding for the bridal party. Which we ate while getting ready.

Due to the weather we weren’t able to go outside for photos but we made use of the ceremony room for the photographer.
All in all it was a fantastic day. Couldn’t have asked for anything better would 100% recommend for any future brides and grooms.
