  The wedding of our dreams

  There aren't enough words to express how wonderful a wedding at Chiddingstone is. I worked at Chiddingstone weddings when I was at university, and always dreamt of getting married there myself. When that time came around, it was so lovely to meet back up with Natalie who I had worked for previously. My partner loved Chiddingstone as much as I did, and so we were decided! From the outset, Natalie and her team were so professional and so organised - we knew we were in the perfect hands! This helped us both feel unbelievably calm, and really enjoy the process of planning - something which is incredibly valuable. The day itself was truly perfection, every detail was thought of, nothing was too much of an ask, and Natalie and her team helped ensure everything ran smoothly. If there were any hiccups we were blissfully unaware of them! We were married at St Marys church in the village, which is perfectly situated. The groom and guests met at the pub before heading into the church, and then following the ceremony we walked through to the Castle in a procession with our guests. It was very special to have the pub, church and castle within 200m of each other in the middle of the stunning Kent countryside! From the drinks reception, to the wedding breakfast in the beautiful marquee, right through to the disco - the day was just beautiful. It was the wedding of our dreams, and we'd thoroughly recommend the venue to anyone!

  Very helpful in allowing us tailor-make our perfect wedding day

  Jake and I had seen Chiddingstone years ago. I joked and said If we ever get married this would be perfect .
  Fast forward 12 years and we had decided to use Chiddingstone as our wedding venue as they could cater for the amount of people and the also being able to organise our catering with another company was a big thing on our list,due to probably over a half of the guest we're children we really didn't want a formal sit down meal and wanted a garden bbq party vibe with the bonus of getting married !
  
  This was fulfilled and we had the most amazing, perfect day ever it was magical in every way. Natalie and the events team at Chiddingstone totally made our day run smoothly and took the stress out of things going wrong (groom forgetting hair stuff lol)

  Approved caterers Easy Dine were horrible

  Wedding 12.08.2023 We have been made to hire one of the approved by Castle caterers - Easy Dine. This company ruined our wedding. Quality of services very poor - wedding cake failed to cut, no spoons provided for the cake, food service very poor, portions not as promised and advertised. Avoid at all costs from hiring Easy Dine to cater your wedding to avoid frustration and disappointment.

  Fully Reccommended, Natalie and the team supplied the best level of service we could have asked for and the venue is absolutely beautiful.

  Top tier service from the Chiddingstone team, we had the perfect wedding. Natalie and the estate manager and the whole team provided help to organise a beautiful orangery wedding and lovey canapés on the grounds outside the castle with food in a Ivy-decorated marquee. This was made much easier with Chiddingstone’s list of reccommended suppliers, although you can go your own way. Natalie was available for several meetings over the 18 months we planned the wedding and was always able to point us in the right direction for the themes we desired. We honestly believe there is no better venue in Kent and Sussex than Chiddingstone Castle for a brilliant wedding.

  The perfect wedding day

  We had visited a number of wedding venues but when we saw Chiddingstone, we were blown away.
  
  The beautiful grounds and gardens, the stunning castle itself steeped in history, the breathtaking orangery and of course the brilliant Natalie, convinced us that this was our dream venue for our summer wedding.
  
  Right from the beginning Natalie was happy to answer all our questions and made us feel confident that she and her team would help us have the perfect day.
  
  
  On the day itself, nothing was too much trouble for Natalie and her team. The bridal party was well looked after in the morning and we were delighted by how seamlessly the transitions from the ceremony to the reception and then to the wedding breakfast took place.
  
  
  All of our guests were in awe of the beauty of the venue and myself and the groom were bowled over by the professionalism and meticulous organisation of the castle staff.
  
  It was the wedding day of our dreams and was described by many as “ a fairytale wedding straight out of a Jane Austen novel”.

  Amazing venue

  A Dream Come True Wedding

  All our guests commented on how amazing the venue was - both the Castle and the Orangery - which is where we had our outdoor wedding ceremony, and the Castle lawn for cocktails and canapés.
  
  What most stood out to my Groom and I was the outstanding organisation and utter professionalism we felt when dealing with Natalie and the wider Castle team. They made everything effortless and seamless.
  
  The grounds were beautiful and the place where the bride can get changed is beautiful too.

  Castle for a modern fairy tale

  A lovely castle with a great team! The castle grounds, the great hall and the white rose room were beautiful, magical and picturesque. We had a winter wedding and inside the castle was just as perfect as the pretty castle backdrop on the outside.
  Natalie and the team are fantastic - we felt like the castle was our home for the day! Natalie has been very responsive and supportive throughout the planning to make sure everything is just as we wish and on the day it was all orchestrated very well - would highly recommend Chiddingstone Castle for a perfect wedding

  Perfect venue for our Christmas wedding

  Chiddingstone was a perfect venue for our Christmas wedding. Natalie and the team were brilliant to work with and went above and beyond to help ensure the day ran smoothly and that the castle and the marquee looked beautiful for us. We can't recommend Chiddingstone Castle enough!
