  Amazing fairytale castle

  Westenhanger Castle is an absolutely amazing wedding venue! From the moment we set foot on the grounds, we were blown away by its beauty and historical charm. The staff at Westenhanger Castle couldn't have been more helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. They went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect in every way.
  
  The team at Westenhanger Castle was incredibly accommodating, helping us with every aspect of our wedding, from selecting the ideal ceremony location to assisting with catering and decorating decisions. Their professionalism and dedication to making our day unforgettable were truly remarkable.
  
  Our guests were also captivated by the beauty of the venue and the warmth of the staff. We received numerous compliments about the exceptional service and the incredible ambiance throughout the day.

  Just Incredible!!

  We had our special day here in April 2024 and all we can say is incredible!
  
  The booking process was easy and so personal, the online planning system was so easy to use and the Westenhanger team were always at the end of an email if we needed anything at all - nothing was too much trouble.
  The day went perfectly to plan thanks to the wonderful wedding coordinators, the food was amazing, the DJ was brilliant - genuinely there was nothing we would have changed.
  
  We can’t thank the Westenhanger team enough for everything that they have done in making sure that our wedding day was perfect.

  The Most Magical Day

  I can honestly say hand on heart that a typical ‘Wedding’ was not a bit of me. However, there is nothing Typical about Westernhanger.
  
  The magic is created as soon as you walk in and even more so on my day as we had snow!! Transported into a winter wonderland with the most beautiful atmosphere and decorations.
  
  The staff were honestly so incredible and I cannot even begin to thank you for guiding me through my day. You took everything out of my hands and I trusted you all. Your professionalism and expertise ensured that our day ran smoothly. Every single guest commented on how amazing the dinner service was and so professional. Also the food was stunning.
  
  The evening DJ was great and although I took a turn for the worst, due to a sickness bug I couldn’t help but get up and boogie. The evening guests shared that the buffet was incredible.
  
  On behalf of my Husband and I we would like to thank you all for creating and being a part of the most magical day. And if you’re anything like me and do not do ‘Typical’ this is the place for you. Westernhanger will always have a place in our hearts and we’ve made our own history in this incredible historical place.

  Best day :)

  The team at Westenhanger were so warm and welcoming. We had travelled from up north to come down and looked at multiple venues. The castle was the only venue that we got emotional at. It is gorgeous. We had a huge numbers of friends and family travel down for the day, and many have said it's the best wedding they've ever been to. We did find that perhaps coordination was slightly lax for us, but that could be more of a criticism of ourselves. A really, really lovely team of people. Thank you!

  Autumnal dream

  Tania, Jackie and Bex are an absolutely amazing team. We had such a chill wedding day with everything running smoothly. The Castle grounds are beautiful and looked amazing in the October sunshine. The inside of the castle is perfect for the ceremony and the marquee is great for the reception. We really wanted photos in the dovecote and they turned out lovely.

  Stunning venue and great experience from start to finish!

  From our first meeting, the staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable and responsive to any queries we had throughout the planning process. We had a lot of guests with dietary requirements, so the choice of menus was important to us when choosing a venue. There was a great selection of meals to choice from and the chefs were accommodating where we needed to tweak things!
  
  The venue itself is of course stunning and a real stand out feature is the space for both the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready for the big day! All the staff on the day made sure everything went smoothly and we were able to relax and enjoy the day!

  We cannot recommend The Castle at Westenhanger enough. Quite simply the best. A totally professional team who made our day so special. Everyone and everything was perfect and far exceeded our expectations. On top of this, the team really did make us feel more like friends than customers and really did seem as excited as we were about the day. From day one of planning to clearing up our things the day after, we were met with smiles and hugs and made to feel genuinely special. If you want good old fashioned professional service wrapped in the friendliest of company at a venue that looks stunning, then you have found the perfect venue in Westenhanger.

  Just amazing!

  I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough. Tania and Mike are absolutely amazing people, after a turbulent year in 2020 we found this beautiful venue mid 2020 to have our long awaited wedding. As soon as we entered the Castle and were shown around by Tania we fell in love with it and the beautiful surroundings. The staff have been so so helpful, informative and understanding for couples, nothing is too much to ask. We never thought we would find a venue where we have so much support and understanding from the staff. I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone! ?

  Couldn’t ask for more!

  The team at Westenhanger have been nothing but supportive and flexible with regards to our wedding. We were originally due to be married in June 2020 but had to postpone, now planned for June 2021 and cannot wait to have our wedding in their beautiful grounds. Highly recommend.
