Johnson-Williams Sent on 14/06/2023A beautiful venue, for a memorable day that went so smoothly!
Adam & Charlotte were a delight to be in communications with from start to finish. During the planning, they were always so clear and organised, which kept us relaxed and assured through the whole journey. They had a tried and tested schedule for the day so the guests & the good vibes flowed smoothly from each location. And had so much advice from previous weddings, it made planning a breeze. Charlotte and Adam were always quick to respond to any questions we had, and accommodated all our requests and helped make our day as bespoke to us as possible.
The wedding day went without a hitch, it was evident that Adam, Charlotte and all the staff involved, were working so hard and to a top tier standard. They all moved with friendly professionalism and grace, like swans, they were paddling so hard underwater, but never let it show.
We cannot thank you all enough for the hard work everyone put in. It was so greatly appreciated and honestly you made it the most perfect day for us.

Wednesday V. Sent on 28/05/2023The best day of our lives 💕
After having to postpone our wedding for several years due to Covid and the museum refurbishments, we can definitely say that the wait was worth it!
Charlotte was absolutely fantastic and was always at the end of the phone/email if we needed her during the planning process, and helped make sure the day went by without a hitch!
The museum itself is the most amazing setting for such an important day, and after having one of our first dates at the museum, many years ago, we couldn't have pictured getting married anywhere else.
My only gripe, and the reason I haven't given 5 stars for quality of service, is the fact that the museum have nothing set up/available for playing music on the day. We had to connect to the speaker system using Bluetooth, and there wasn't any member of museum staff available to be control of the music, so my MoH ended up having to control the music from her phone for the entire ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Having your bridal party playing music from their phone whilst walking down the aisle really isn't ideal - having a member of staff available to control the music would have made this a 5 star experience all round! -

From our first meeting with the Events team to the days afterwards we really couldn't of asked for more. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food was fantastic all our guests raved about the beef and the sticky toffee pudding! The staff we all so friendly and looked after all our guests amazingly. Nothing was too much trouble for the team they really were superb and so well organised. We cannot reccomended the venue and team enough, if you are considering it as a potential venue DO IT! You won't be disappointed. Thanks for everything Becky and Darren x -

Amazing day!
Thank you University of Manchester for our perfect wedding day!
Unfortunately the covid pandemic hit our original date and can honestly say the team especially Adam Woof was amazing at helping us reorganise!
Adam took over as our support and honestly was amazing throughout. From liasing, arranging dates for deliveries, food tastings, venue previews and walkrounds, everything felt personalised to us.
We had our ceremony in the council chamber and breakfast & receptions in Christie's Bistro. The location was exactly what we were looking for and in comparison to other venues was far less expensive for the great service and facilities!
The food from the canopes, breakfast and evening buffet offered great variety and quality (tasted amazing too) and offered veggie/vegan options. Great variety of drinks!
We and the wedding party stayed at the Hyatt Regency, 5 minutes walk away, where the University hotel booking team got us a greatly discounted block booking for 25 rooms and a suite!
Adam was an amazing help and supported us to do some whacky things on our day, including a silent disco, which worked perfectly in the venue! On the day he was ever present, co-ordinating the team and ready to aid with tasks.
From entering the breakfast in a glass elevator, using the beautiful courtyard for reception and photos and access to some amazing spaces all added to our spectacle. The location is close to oxford road station, hotels and bus routes for guests.
Thank you again, we would definitely recommend the venue, facilities, personal touches, food and support to anyone!
