Upton Barn is the most beautiful and incredible wedding venue ever. Claire and Richard (owners) have thought of EVERYTHING when designing Upton Barn - this made our decor decisions so much easier. The staff are just phenomenal, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. From our initial look round right up until the wedding day, communication was seamless. Upton Barn make you feel like your wedding is the only one they have - they genuinely care about their couples and want you, and your guests to have the most magical day. A massive shout out to Kaliegh, our on the day coordinator, who decorated our venue SO beautifully - she exceeded my Pinterest dreams. If you are considering Upton Barn as your wedding venue, you really won’t be disappointed! And please, book the Paddock - it is the dreamiest getting ready space ever. Thank you to everyone at Upton Barn for making our wedding day unforgettable 🤍 -

Wow! The venue, the team, and everything from the initial visit to our wedding day has been faultless. We could not recommend Upton Barn & Walled Garden enough. We were fortunate enough to have an outside wedding in the walled garden, it was super special to hear about guest’s reactions when they walked through the gates and saw the beautiful space. And again, when they were called for the wedding breakfast into the Stable Barn - a space they didn’t even know existed!
We used The Paddock in the morning, which is a super cool, boujee and chic studio for getting ready, filling every Bride’s dreams!
Every single, minor detail has been thought of and catered for which takes away so much stress for the couple. In the lead up to our wedding and on the day, Team Upton handled everything and exceeded our expecations! We could not be happier. -

We had the most dreamy experience with Upton Barn, from the first day we came for a tour right up to our Wedding day. The team were understanding, attentive and friendly.
I got ready in the Paddock, it was such a safe space and had everything we needed, it felt so special to be getting ready in such a beautiful space and definitely made us all feel much more relaxed.
The Wedding itself went smoothly, all the staff were fabulous and so caring even over the finer details we had planned, the timings ran so well and the food from Pickle Shack was ace!
I would highly recommend Upton Barn, such a friendly and professional team and stunning location. It certainly ticked all our boxes and I wish I could relive our special day again!

The perfect day at the perfect venue!!
We knew the second we walked into Upton Barn, that is was the venue for us!
It is a beautiful and modern space which offers both indoor and outdoor options for a wedding.
From the off set, we were really well supported by the team at Upton to plan our day and they provided thorough and helpful advice and guidance to what can seem like a daunting process.
Our wedding coordinator Kaliegh was the best, from our final meeting until the end of our big day, she made sure our big day was perfect - from setting up the venue with decorations, to coordinating timings and calming us both down before the I Do's. Everyone really went the extra mile, and no question or change was too much, everything was seamless.
It breaks my heart that my big day at Upton Barn is finished as it was the most magical day, I am so pleased that I got to start my marriage here with my loved ones. And the venue and staff gave my marriage the very best start.
If you are thinking of booking Upton Barn, please go for it! You will absolutely not regret it - it is the most amazing venue, with the most fabulous staff. -

As soon as we went to look at Upton Barn we knew instantly that we were going to get married there, the venue is just breath taking. Every single space at Upton Barn is so beautiful that it's difficult not to fall in love instantly. The staff that work there are one of the other reasons that make Upton Barn so incredible, they are so attentive and knowledgeable and professional. They truly make you feel like your wedding day is in the safest hands! I just can't say enough positive things about how amazing our day was, I wish we could do it all over again! Just thank you so much to the most beautiful venue and the most incredible staff. A special thank you to our wedding coordinator Sarah, you really made us feel so at ease and special. Everything was planned down to the last detail and your enthusiasm for everything to do with the day matched our own and it really felt like you cared about everything. If I could give more stars I would! -

We wanted a wedding venue where we would feel relaxed and cared for in a stylish, charming, cool, understated place and Upton Barn delivered. It’s run by a team who really know how to make a beautiful day.
There’s so many lovely spaces here. It was a joy to walk into the gorgeous walled garden after our church ceremony. The incredible window in the stable barn made a beautiful backdrop to our speeches (and big shout out to the horses for making a guest appearance). As the light disappeared and the sun set, the festoon lights and fire pit had their moment and the garden came to life. The cider barn was the perfect size for our ceilidh too.

Upton Barn was just what we wanted for our wedding, a rustic venue that’s not too big and set in beautiful countryside with gorgeous views! The paddock to get ready in made the morning, it was so stress free and had everything you need to enjoy the morning. The grounds at Upton won us over the first time we visited, the walled garden is stunning, definitely the highlight for us. Although we didn’t manage to get married outside due to a rain shower, the cider barn is just as gorgeous to get married in. We managed to do our confetti shot and photographs outside which made it for us as we so wanted to enjoy the grounds. The grounds make for such beautiful photos! Upton staff were extremely organised and helpful throughout the whole process, we want to especially thank Kaliegh and Laura, they made us feel at ease and made the day run so smoothly. Upton barn allowed us to have our tractor there and decorated the venue with our decorations even better than we envisioned. So many of our guests commented on what a gorgeous wedding venue it is. Our day couldn’t have gone any better and that’s down to Upton and the team! -

What a setting! As soon as we visited Upton Barn, we knew this was the venue we wanted as the backdrop for our wedding. Approaching the venue, the scenery is just breathtaking. So many details and wonderful grounds. I instantly fell in love with The Paddock. So many details and made the experience of getting ready for the wedding so special. The wedding coordinators were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They responded promptly to any queries we had and were great at suggesting ideas. On the day, staff were so attentive and seemed genuinely happy for us as newlyweds! We were even gifted with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate! We would highly recommend Upton Barn to anyone who wants their special day to be simply perfect. -

Anna Sent on 26/09/2023Amazing Venue, but unlucky with the weather
I got married Sept 23 at Upton Barns. We chose this venue as it was local to us and easy for people to get to, but also offered a more laid back type of wedding that we were keen for.
All the spaces are beautiful, and the Paddock is a beautiful space to get ready in with ice cold air-con. I wish I had hired another MUA and hair stylist so that we could have enjoyed the space more rather than be on a strict time line.
We ended up getting married on the hottest day of the year and in the middle of Upton Barn having air-con installed in the wedding breakfast barn (It was on the wall but not functional much to the confusion of our guests.)-the staff did their best to combat the heat and Upton and the caterers (Mulberry) did their best to make sure that the guests still had a great time-the room had turned into essentially an oven (even with the ugly giant fans) and at some points we were very concerned about some of our guests-thankfully we were given the ok to hold the speeches outside in the walled garden and the staff did their best to accommodate this quickly and having the speeches outside was actually really lovely despite it being a little chaotic to quickly change.
Upton Staff are so impeccably organised and when liaising with suppliers and all the suppliers were complimentary about Upton and the communication they received. Everybody knew where they stood and so that was really good and took a lot of pressure off me.
They were also so patient with me (I found wedding planning very stressful and overwhelming) and Upton were so helpful in recommending people when suppliers let me down-do attend the 'meet the supplier' days at Upton if you can to see the spaces and to meet some of the suppliers and test some cake and canapes!
What I will say is they are very strict regarding things like sparklers, smoke machines, confetti cannons so check what you are allowed before you book a package with your DJ (but considering how sweaty everyone was, it was a blessing in disguise as setting off a confetti cannon would have been very similar to being tarred and feathered)
Overall we had a great, but very sweaty, day-A few minor issues, but nothing major other than being too hot (If that is the worst thing I can say about my wedding looking back then it went well!) and I would fully recommend it as a wedding venue, but hope that they have the air con fully installed before the next freak heatwave!
