  Amazing place

  We held our wedding here which was just perfect. Very attractive and polite staff, the venue is very charming. Would definitely recommended.

  Special place in our hearts!

  Thank you so much for organising our wedding. Everything well organised and we were very impressed. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too. We have stayed in the hotel and we were impressed with the quality of the bedrooms and the complimentary gifts provided with them. We could have our breakfast together the following morning which was plentiful and very tasty. Once again thank you very much for everything. The white hart hotel always be a special place in our hearts with nice memories.

  Amazing food, first-class service

  We had our wedding here for 50 people on 11th June. The venue is just beautiful. The staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had prosecco on arrival followed by canapes, after that we had our seated 3 courses meal. Compliments to the chef! Amazing food and good service. Thank you

  Perfect wedding

  We chose this venue for our wedding reception as we wanted somewhere more informal. We had a wonderful day and we would like to thank the staff who were fantastic. We booked out the whole hotel for our guests, so that worked out perfectly. The buffet food was lovely, with many compliments by all who attended. The restaurant was converted into an event room where we had a DJ set up, and was surprisingly large. We had 80 or so guests but we could have potentially invited more as there was plenty of room. I loved our room with the four poster, and we received many positive comments about the other rooms. Especially the room with the secret passage! Everyone was impressed with the character of the place. The next day we were ideally located next to the Cathedral & lakes for the hangover walk. We were very happy with the choice of venue and would recommend this to anyone else thinking of holding an event there.

  Perfect from start to finish

  We were celebrating our daughter's wedding in the hotel and all the guests who needed overnight accommodation stayed here. The hotel is full of atmosphere, and it's amazing how they have managed to make the rooms comfortable and interesting without damaging the ambience of the building. The wedding reception itself was organised to perfection. The location is perfect, too. Directly across from the Cathedral and beautiful walks, but still central enough to walk into the town. Friendly and helpful staff. They take time to talk to the visitors, and can't do enough to help you enjoy your stay. Altogether we could not recommend this hotel more highly.

  Fantastic wedding venue!

  Firstly, what a beautiful venue with oak panelling, we held our wedding at The White Hart Hotel for 40 guests and we had the whole place and garden for the day and evening. Fantastic food, the staff were great and couldn’t do enough. Cannot fault the day everything was seamless and smooth - what a brilliant team. A HUGE thank you from the bottom of both our hearts.
