Molly and the team at The Old Lodge were fabulous from start to finish. Comms were always clear and Molly helped make our day run exactly the way we wanted it to - down to accommodating our different requirements for aspects of the day to ensuring guests were where they should be at the right time. Molly was super supportive on the day itself, dealing with all suppliers and guest queries as well as making sure I (as the Bride) had everything I needed. We fell in love with The Old Lodge during Covid, even before we were engaged, and new immediately that would be our wedding venue. Just beautiful and can't wait to come back again soon for more delicious food! -

We had the most amazing day from start to finish, all the staff were helpful friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Everything was planned and carried out with thought and care . We can’t recommend them enough for the most perfect and amazing food all prepared to accommodate people with food allergies . This venue was a big part of helping our day turn out to be everything we wanted for our wedding. -

Perfect in every way
Being a social awkward person myself I thought I would really struggle finding somewhere to host my wedding but molly and her team made the whole experience so easy for us. Always responsive and no question was a stupid question. Our day was absolutely amazing and enjoyed by everyone. The food is outstanding and the whole day was perfect. -

Beautiful wedding venue, amazing food and great value for money
We had a perfect, relaxing and low key wedding exactly as we had hoped at the old lodge. The old lodge team made every effort to meet extra little special touches and adapted the meals for me (gluten and dairy free). The food was one of the main reasons we booked the venue; and that didn’t disappoint on the day either. Would highly recommend this relaxed, beautiful venue which is also extremely good value for money. -

Molly went above and beyond to ensure our day ran as smoothly as possible and was perfect! the whole team worked hard and was lovely nothing was too much trouble for them.
The setting was beautiful we had the best weather to go with it wish we could do it all again! -

Beautiful setting for a relaxed and fun summer wedding
We had a great day, Molly and her team did a fantastic job setting everything up, decorating both the main room and the marquee. We didn’t follow formalities at all so were looking for a laid back vibe which we definitely got, canopies were great, lots of positive comments. Main food was good too, we opted for a BBQ style buffet, only comment was that there were a couple of points where the food got quite low before more dishes came out but I can understand it’s hard to predict the rate of which dishes get eaten.
They accommodated both the band and the children’s entertainer and helped with setting up so we didn’t have to think about a thing on the day, which was fab. I stayed the night before and the obviously the night of the wedding, the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was great. We had also arranged a large gathering on Friday night, we were given our own room and a lovely meal was provided. Overall we had the most amazing day, in a beautiful building surrounded by gorgeous views, all our guests were well looked after and had a great time and Tom and I were very happy we chose the Old Lodge and Molly and her team to give us the day we were looking for! -

We decided on the Lodge as it was the perfect setting. Lots if parking, beautiful views and lovely rooms to stay in. The thing that most took us were the people, Molly was the wedding planner and we couldn't have asked for anyone more lovely, she went above and beyond for us. I had forgotten to write on my favours so Molly took it upon herself to do this for me she even helped me tie my sash when I thought all hope of doing so was lost. Our every wish was there. We had wedding, wedding breakfast and evening reception here as it was so easy to stay in one place. Manu was on hand along side Molly throughout the process and on the day he was fabulouls nothing was too much trouble. Henry was behind the bar and we had such a blast with him they all make you feel like family. The food was to die for, all of my guests were super impressed the portions are really good, the evening buffet surpassed our expectations. The room was set up just as we wanted it, OCD Molly had it all looking perfect. We had the most wonderful day, my friends are still talking about it and many have now become regulars at the lodge. We stayed over night and breakfast the next morning was stunning. I couldn't recommend The Lodge more for the perfect day. We are so glad we had ours there ... one word ... AMAZING -
