  Amazing wedding experience

  From the first look round to the follow up after the wedding day, we cannot rate this venue highly enough. The wedding planner Gabriela was first class, great with ideas to guide us, organised, took a lot of the weight off our shoulders when organising our Wedding from Barnsley.
  The food was delicious and made the event so special, we could also personalise our wedding breakfast from the tasting session.
  Staff on the day were just fantastic, offering us great service, making the kids feel welcome and all with a smile.
  Our guest feedback was that the venue and food was exceptional, many saying it was the best wedding venue they had been to. There was plenty of room for the DJ and dancing ( we were in the lounge). For our wedding of 36, the lounge was perfect, we loved every minute.
  The aftercare was brilliant, what a team!

  Perfect Wedding Day

  Will and his team hosted our wedding at The Happenstance last year, we had the most wonderful day and cannot thank the team enough for their hospitality and attention to detail. The venue was perfect, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble! Thank you Happenstance for being a huge part of our incredible day! xx

  Great Venue and Fantastic Staff

  My husband and I were lucky enough to snap up Paternoster Square Corney and Barrow for our wedding reception in late October 2015 and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life in part to the fantastic experience we had here.
  The backdrop of St Paul’s cathedral is stunning especially in the evening with its dramatic lighting! Inside the vibe is warm but sophisticated with a separate room for dinning and partying. One word of advice when looking at the venue – try to go and have a look when they are setting up for another wedding, it is hard to really appreciate how the space looks on weekend compared to a weekday.
  On to the actual day – my husband and I arrived with our guests and were greeted to a glass of fizz as we went off to have our photos – the guests then enjoyed there drinks and canapés – there was plenty to go around and there was a great atmosphere. Many of our guests commented on the staff - were really attentive topping up drinks and offering the canapés and actually had smiles on their faces and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. They were also lovely and chatty and not robots as you find in some places. I cannot express how happy we were with the staff, a massive thank you particularly to Melody, Tobi and Sara – they really looked after us and our guests and called everyone cabs when we were worse for wear!
