  Wedding Stay & Wed...

  we booked consort for our wedding service , reception and many guests to stay... first class service from start to end accomadaton great honey moon sweet A1 reception and food next to non party fantastic and a great price if getting wedd do iot here ...will stay at hotel on anniversary for sure..

  Fantastic wedding venue fantastic wedding planner

  Me and my wife had our wedding reception here on the 28th July and the service from the hotel and especially our wedding planner was faultless from start to finish.
  
  We booked 3 years in advance and Sarah the wedding planner made us feel so welcome from the first day she showed us around the hotel (every room in the entire hotel) We had numerous planning meetings throughout the three years and whenever we had a question she was more than happy to meet up even if it meant her staying later that her working hours!!
  
  We were allowed to store the things we needed for the banqueting suite the day before so it was not as crazy on the day.
  As soon as we arrived on the day and saw our function room we were amazed, attention to detail was brilliant everything that we wanted was there, including GOLDFISH!
  
  Our wedding meal service was carried out so professionally and calmly and the food was top notch, including the evening buffet!
  
  We had the bridal suite (4 poster) for two night, the room was perfect for a bride and groom.
  They did a special buffet breakfast for us as we had booked out the entire hotel. All food was a high quality hot and was always been brought out fresh.
  
  Sarah the wedding planner made the day soooo special for us. We could not have asked for a better wedding planner.
  
  WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!!

  Our Special Day

  My new wife and I had our wedding reception here Sat 20th Oct and from start to finish we were made to feel so special. The sit down meal, the buffet and the room were all 1st class and the package didn't cost the earth too. If your thinking about getting married you should really think about hiring this venue. We had the Bistro room for our reception it holds 100 max which was ample for4 us as our wedding was planned in 4 weeks from start to finish so was very lucky to get anywhere at such short notice. The wedding planner was excellent and the organiser on the day "Sammy" helped the day run as smooth as clockwork. A complimentary hotel room was in the price too nice and spacious. Thank you all at Consort Hotel for helping make our day one to remember. From Mr and Mrs Crookes

  Cannot wish for better

  We recently held our wedding(27/06/13) at the Consort Suite, couldn't have wished for better organisation, everything ran like clockwork, thanks to Anne Louise and the rest of the staff. Food was praised by all the guests and we had a wedding to remember. The rooms were first class and very spacious.Would recommend this to anyone planning a wedding.

  Father of the Bride

  My daughter's wedding celebration and evening reception was held here on the 14/09/13. the hotel is in a good location and there is ample car parking facilities. The hotel is in good decorative order, the suite having been recently refurbished, the bedrooms spacious, clean and comfortable with wall mounted TV and the usual tea, coffee making facilities if you need them.
  The food served in the restaurant was very good, there is also a bar at close hand. I could not fault the friendliness of all the staff and nothing was too much trouble if you needed help or advice.
  As the father of the bride I took an interest as to how the hotel was organising my daughters special day, I did not need to worry because the management and their wedding co-ordinator (Ann Louise) did a superb job, even when my daughter had some last minute changes to make, they just got on with it and made sure everything was going to plan. During the celebration Ann Louise was always at close hand with her staff making sure everything ran smoothly, so many thanks for that, I can not fault the package and the service we received. So if you are reading this with a wedding reception or even a civil ceremony and reception in mind, give the Consort some thought!

  We had our wedding here and I can honestly say the day was fantasic from start to finish. All the staff where very efficient and helpful. I stayed the night before the wedding as well as the wedding night, I found the room to be very spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
  
  The food was piping hot and delicious, everyone commented on how good it was and the waiting staff where brilliant. All in all, everyone had a great time and there was no complaints from our guests at all. I would definately recommend a weddiing here.

  After having my wedding reception on 5th october 2013 at the Consort Hotel I would recommend it to anyone. Sharon and Ann Louise was always on hand to answer any queries prior to my wedding and to make sure everything was organised as I wanted it. On the day the staff were excellent especially Sammy and the two girls working with him. Sammy was perfect, he was happy and got involved with the celebration we couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was lovely everyone commented how much they enjoyed the food and how nice it was, the buffet during the evening was also good. Our room and the rooms for some of my guests were spacious and clean, and for B & B were good value for money. A good choice of food for breakfast the next day everything from full English breakfast to fruit, yoghurt, toast and several other things too many to list. Defiantly worth considering when booking a wedding or just for a stay.
