  The Best Wedding Venue Ever

  We got married at Statham Lodge August 2001 I know, a long time ago after my cousin had married there two years earlier. The staff were amazing, food first class, venue perfect. Our wedding photos look wonderful and all of our friends and family had nothing but good things to say.
  We got married on a Sunday, so only had to book 12 months in advance. The staff even opened the kitchen early for breakfast so my husband and I could get off for our honeymoon flight.
  I would recommend Statham Lodge to anyone for their wedding, it is a most special place.

  Wedding of Our Dreams

  We got married and had our reception at Statham Lodge. From the word go everything was perfect, the staff were amzing and as we got married near Christmas time, the decorations really added to the special occasion. Sam, our Wedding Co-Ordinator put so much effort into making our day amazing and we could not have asked for anything more. All our guests remarked on the food and the decorations and said they had a lovely time. We couldn't have chosen a better venue!

  Excellent choice

  We had our reception here in March 2006 and couldn't fault a single thing about the place.
  From booking through to the day itself the staff were helpful, approachable and friendly. On the day itself we were treated like royalty. The venue looks stunning inside and out in real life and it looks great on the photos too.
  All of the guests commented on the place how great the food was and compared to some hotels the food and drink was very reasonably priced.
  The only downside to the is the very long (2 year??) waiting list unless you are able to get married mid-week.
  One last thing, the bridal suite is also fantastic - esp. the bathroom. There's a lovely big jacuzzi for when you get back to your room. The perfect end to a perfect day!

  Absolutely fantastic

  The best day ever - felt very special, very relaxed, great choice of food, a lot of fun choosing the wine before hand. The service was just fantastic. Grounds are beautiful. Everyone made us all feel special and not just another wedding. It is great being the only wedding on in the hotel. Really friendly place. Very organised. The toast master even stole the best mans opening joke which made for a really good start to the speeches!

  perfect

  on our wdding day it was raining and i was getting quite stressed with it all, but as soon as we arrived at tstatham lodge we relaxed completly, the staff were fantastic and the master of ceremonies was an angel. the food was the best and the fuction suite and guest rooms were first class. also the prices were very reasonable and the bill was lower than we expected, they do not charge you for things you dont use, even if you ordered them.
  i would definitely recommend statham lodge to anyone and im sure that alot of people will as it has a 2 year approx waiting list, unless you get lucky and get a cancellation like my friend did after she came to our reception there
