  Somerley Rivals London 5 Star Venues

  From the moment I met with Alex Dollin Webster, the Events Manager at the beautiful Estate that is Somerley, I knew we were in safe hands.
  
  A warm, professional and hospitable welcome awaits one upon arrival.
  Together with her Team, Alex ensures that your wishes and vision are bought to life. With effortless execution on the day and with a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful Team, it was an absolute pleasure working with Somerley.
  
  The history, and the artwork which once rivalled the King’s collection, are truly magnificent with every room revealing a jaw dropping view onto the Estate and its grounds. The Picture Gallery is fit for Royalty and dining in it makes one feel just that. Indeed you are made to feel like it is your home for the day with endless possibilities whatever one’s taste and Party theme.
  
  Having worked in so many 5 star venues in London, around the country and beyond, I cannot recommend Somerley highly enough. It is just sensational! It makes one not only feel you are sharing in a very quintessentially English part of history, but that you can rest in the knowledge that your Event will be splendid!
  
  Thank you Alex and Somerley for being a total joy to work with! I know that my client has been left with the most wonderful memories to treasure forever.

  I just wanted to take a few minutes to say a huge thank you to yourself and your team for your help with Becky and Matts wedding.
  
  Right from our very first meeting, nothing was too much trouble and your organisation was second to none.
  
  It was an absolute pleasure going though this process with you, which I`m sure resulted in the wedding of their dreams. Well actually I know that as they have not stopped smiling about the whole day.
  
  I'm sure if they could do it all again they would at the drop of a hat and probably would not change a thing.

  We made the very best decision to book Somerley

  As soon as we became engaged, Somerley was top of our list of venues to visit. That very first impression sealed the deal for us and sadly for all other venues, nothing else compared!
  
  We made the very best decision to book Somerley as our wedding venue, as it offers so much history, opulence and grandeur; as well as feeling utterly homely, warm and welcoming. There is no end to the space that the house offers, from the magnificent Picture Gallery, the beautiful gardens and multiple rooms offering great areas for dancing, enjoying a drink at the bar or sitting quietly to catch up with family.
  
  If it could even get better, a diamond in Somerley’s crown is the wonderful Alex. Alex has been like a friend to us in the run up to our wedding, with her calm and friendly manner, offered alongside professional advice and guidance. Alex made sure that we had no concerns leading up to the wedding day because we knew she had it all covered with her fantastic eye for detail. Thank you so much Alex, for all that you helped us with. You were always contactable and offered helpful and practical advice – even if it was Sarah’s umpteenth email of the day.
  
  We also felt incredibly reassured by Somerley’s approved suppliers list and our chosen Caterer, Ginger, along with the bar supplier, NJac, ensured that all aspects of the day ran according to plan. Everything went so smoothly and all of the staff on hand were helpful, friendly and faultlessly professional.
  
  It's such an intensely pressured day, but having our wedding at Somerley House with Alex there with us made it all the easier.
  
  And we feel incredibly lucky to have celebrated our wedding at Somerley House.

  Mind Blowing Experience

  My daughter had her wedding at Somerley House and I can only describe the experience as mind blowing. From the very start of the organisation a year before, we were met by total professionalism from Alex and her team. It was like having our very own personal wedding organiser. The venue was stunning and the ability to stay 2 nights in the magnificent bedrooms and get ready for the wedding was outstanding. Myself and my husband cannot thank Somerley enough for making our daughters wedding so very special.

  My daughter had her wedding at Somerley House and I can only describe the experience as mind blowing. From the very start of the organisation a year before, we were met by total professionalism from Alex and her team. It was like having our very own personal wedding organiser.   It offers a luxurious surrounding, with a wonderfully inviting and homely feel. It’s charm is revealed through every room you walk through, and every way you look outside.
  
  What’s more, the team at Somerley are unparalleled. Their warmth, positivity and can-do attitude shines through.

  The Perfect Venue

  Thank you so much for all your hard work which went into making our wedding day so fantastic. We are so glad we were able to have our wedding at Somerley House - it was the perfect venue and felt so personal. We have had so many comments on the stunning venue. We had the most amazing day and loved every second from start to finish. Thank you for all your help and advice leading up to the day.

The day went perfectly and without a hitch and all that was down to you. You have been so supportive and professional throughout and we couldn't have found a more perfect location. Everyone has commented as to what an amazing day it was. Thank you for your recommendations of Marlin Marquees and Ginger Event catering, you certainly all work amazingly together. Combined you have given us the best day of our lives!
