  Amazing Day made hassle free by incredible staff

  My Partner and I had the most amazing wedding reception here. We decided early on that we didn't want a sit down dinner and that we wanted it just be a party vibe and for everyone to mix around freely. We had a wedding in mid July so we opted for there BBQ package which they cooked and served on there terrace and was an incredible steal at only £18 per head , and there was more than enough to go around, they also made sure to cater extra for any vegans or those with dietary requirements , all our guest we blown away by how tasty the food was.
  
  The Staff on the day at the venue were so welcoming and friendly which you really felt made the event all that more enjoyable. They made sure to put enough crew on the bar and the service was on point. The cocktails were done properly and the drinks were served quickly .
  
  The way the bar is set out with the outdoor terrace and the indoor seating makes for such a great space for people to mingle round and the stage is perfect for speeches and the lives music. We managed to fit a 6 piece band on stage and the bar was pumping plenty of space for everyone to dance without feeling too big.
  
  But what was best of all is the location your in the heart of Brighton over looking the sea and Brighton pier. We had our main ceremony on the Brighton band stand and then held a drinks reception at a bar mid way between patterns and the band stand and then we walked down the beach with drinks in hand on our way to patterns. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better day.

  Top Venue

  Our experience of Patterns was exceptional. Jennie and the team were supportive and helpful for the duration of the planning and the day was faultless. We had a 100% vegan wedding and the food was amazing. Dan and the catering team did a great job and all our guests were very complimentary of the food. Many thought they were vegan specialists which says it all! Abel, Sarah and the bar and waiting staff were all very professional on the day. Confident, calm, aware, the schedule of the day was managed well as we had canapés, two groups of speeches, bowl food, a band and a DJ. Lorna and I didn't need to manage anything and we were able to enjoy the day in a great venue. Many of my friends from Sheffield were amazed at the venue and Lorna's Brighton friends were positively surprised about how the venue has changed over the years.
  Patterns doesn't need much doing to it but we added a few personal touches such as flowers, lights and a welcome door. The sound system was also excellent.
  We had a vision of the day when we began planning and Patterns exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful day led by a great team.

  Best wedding ever at Patterns!

  We had our wedding reception and party at Patterns last Sunday and the entire day was brilliant, it could not have been any better! The location is as good as it gets, Jennie and the staff were all amazing and everything remained on schedule which doesn’t seem to normally happen at weddings! We got there and had Prosecco on the terrace in the sun overlooking the seafront, then had tapas and paella inside (the caterers were recommended by Patterns and were also brilliant). We were able to have both a band play followed by a DJ. The place already looks great and doesn’t require much decoration. Definitely recommend if you want a modern, fun wedding that doesn’t require too much organisation. Thank you so much Patterns team!

  Could not recommend enthusiastically enough

  Where to even begin! We chose patterns as our wedding venue because it was cool, relaxed and fun rather than stuffy and formal, and being in such an iconic location gave us the most ‘Brighton’ wedding possible. It’s a beautiful 20s building with very fresh, stylish decor - we found that we didn’t really need to decorate anything other than our tables because the venue was already so cool.
  We also knew we wanted somewhere we could stay with our friends and family, so the apartments upstairs were ideal.
  From start to finish Jennie was very helpful and reassuring - we weren’t sure of a lot of things as we’ve never planned a wedding before! But she was great every step of the way.
  They were able to be flexible with the catering options giving us exactly what we wanted (family style service bowl food) and the food was incredible. So many people took the time to tell us that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had - more like restaurant standard.
  The bar team on the day were fantastic and did everything we asked of them with a smile. The cocktails were delicious and they gave us the greatest atmosphere possible.
  One bit of advice - if you’re renting the apartments upstairs for the night before, do be aware that there is obviously the club downstairs and a nightclub next door too. This is made perfectly clear by Patterns when you book, but we forgot to pack earplugs and didn’t sleep at all the night before (but this was probably also nerves!) so just pack earplugs/sleeping tablets :)

  Really cannot recommend enough

  My partner and I got married here 2 weeks ago. It was a brilliant, brilliant day. The team were so friendly and helpful. Jenny calmed all my bridezilla nerves and the manager (Apel?) was so friendly and professional on the day. The food was lovely - we had mezze boards followed by paella on the terrace. The venue itself is so lovely. We wanted something out of the norm where weddings are concerned and it really delivers. We received so many comments about it. Overall I would highly recommend Patterns and the whole team there.

  Wedding on the 5th of June 2019

  Me and Ollie had our wedding here on the 5th of June and it was everything we wanted! We had a small chilled wedding and we mainly just wanted a big party to celebrate! All the staff at patterns are amazing, really relaxed approach so you feel comfortable and not stressed but most importantly super efficient! It was great to meet Jennie a few days before the wedding to go over all the last details and made us feel even more comfortable and not stressed about anything. All our guests commented on how amazing the staff are and the venue as well. We also highly recommend the salted caramel espresso martinis as well :)

  Just Amazing

  Myself and my partner got married here in April and had the most spectacular and special day. Jennie was incredibly helpful, personable and accommodating of our needs and the staff on the day were attentive and professional. Food was amazing. We genuinely couldn't have asked for more. Thanks guys xx
