  Wedding venue was ok but staff unprofessional

  We had out wedding in 2012 and my wife went down there a day before a spa treatment. Unfortunately staff were moaning about staying late because of our marriage in front of my wife which upset her.
  
  Would I recommend the venue, yes but on this occasion they failed to be professional and telling the manager we only got a off the cuff automatic apology.

  We just wanted to drop you a note for when you came back to say thank you to you and all the Clumber Park staff for making our wedding day so special. Everyone was so helpful and willing to assist in any way, in the Hotel and in the Spa, please pass on our thanks.
  So many people were impressed and said they wanted to come back to hotel and go on to explore the surrounding area and i'm sure we will be back again. Especially as the day went so fast that we didn't get much change to enjoy the facilities and the rooms.
  The rooms were amazing
  The staff and service was great
  The food was really good
  People said the bacon sandwiches were the best they had ever had
  
  I don't know if Amy will get this message (we didn't have a personal email address for her) so please pass on our thanks for her help on the day. She was really on top of everything and made everything run smoothly! The photo waiting for us in our room was a really nice touch.

  The New Mr & Mrs Savage are now away on Honeymoon but wish me to express their gratitude for all the efforts of yourself, Amy and ALL the staff for making their special day so memorable.
  
  We had a fine venue morning and evening, excellent food, and even the weather was on our side.
  
  All the 'down to us' bookable extras (Music, Chair & Table décor, Flowers, Photographer, Hair, Makeup etc.) could not be faulted.
  
  The extras with yourself (food & Wine) were exactly as described and were another enhancement to the day.
  
  If you would like constructive criticism I would add:
  Would have been nice for the Hotel, its self, to have had a small Grand Piano (Electronic these days) for the wedding music.
  The addition of the Steak & Ale Pie and Lasange (large dishes for the evening - not individual portions) should be added to your evening buffet options as they worked so well for us.

  Hope you like the photos

  Hope you are well, just wanted to send you some pictures as promised. Also, a huge thank you to Jenni for being an absolute star, she was so unbeliveabley helpful and professional, all the staff were incredibily kind too and the food was delicious, everyone commented on how tasty and different it was. If there was one comment we received it was that a couple of rooms needed updating. We had no probems with the suppliers, the curtain was perfect, Alexandra was amazing as always :) the chocolate fountain was yummy too :)

  Clumber Park Hotel August 2013 our chosen venue for our special day and we weren't disappointed, friendly staff did everything possible to make our day perfect food was excellent and plentiful, complimentary special touches of a private breakfast for all our overnight guests, champagne and framed photo captured the moment. Well done we would highly recommend special thanks to Sarah & Amie

  We would not hesitate to recommend....

  Staff and organisation was absolutely brilliant and it made our day very special. Everything went without a hitch Sarah and Amy and their team were wonderful. We would not hesitate to recommend Clumber to others who would like to have a fantastic wedding venue!

We were already in love with Clumber Park Hotel & Spa before our initial visit and tour with Sarah Lamb, and felt welcomed and special.   We got married here last month, on 23rd October and there aren't words in my vocabulary that can express how incredible everyone was. Amy, our Matron of Ceremonies, was around when we needed her and ensured that everything was to our liking and checked if we needed anything, however small.
  We thoroughly recommend getting married here. The ambience, food, setting and surroundings are second to none. It's a little nook of luxury and we can't wait to spend our first anniversary there next Autumn.

  If you booked here you would not be disappointed.

  Our wedding day at Clumber Park Hotel on the 12th of October 2013 was the best day of my and my husband’s life. Everything went smoothly from going to the hotel the day before the wedding for my husband’s birthday to when we left the morning after the wedding. Sarah Lamb, the wedding co-ordinator was so helpful and talked us through everything in the year(s) before the wedding and was always there at the end of a phone or email to answer any queries that we had. When we arrived at the day before the wedding we were greeted with bottles of beer and wine in our rooms for our birthday which had been the week previously. We enjoyed ourselves in the spa and met Amy who was going to be with us throughout the wedding day. She along with Sarah made sure everything went right on the day from the flowers coming up to the room to making sure there was somewhere nice to have photos as it was raining.
  I cannot start to describe everything they did for us but they really made it a stress free day for us and helped us so much. The hotel is amazing to have a wedding and everyone commented that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding (we had bangers and mash). Everyone we spoke to said that it was the greatest wedding we had ever been to and we were so proud to have our wedding at Clumber Park Hotel.
